A must for coastal babies
My daughter started swimming with Water babies at 3 months. We are both learning new skills and it has made me feel confident to take her swimming alone. Beth is a great teacher and I can see how the songs and activities are translating into water safety and swimming techniques. Living by the coast I wanted my daughter to grow to be a capable water woman and I feel Water babies is the best starting step towards that.

Great pool and lessons changing facilities.However changing facilities are not great for toddlers.
Lessons were great. The changing facilities are open plan for members of the golf club as well. Floor is really slippery which is not good for toddlers. Only one baby changing room so shower cubicles are used instead.

Quality time and investment for my Grand -Daughter…
I have been taking my Grand -Daughter to Water Babies for 8 sessions now. I have to say initially, I was apprehensive... £19 per session AND I have to get in the pool! Swimming is my least favourite choice of exercise but, that is the force behind getting my Bella to enjoy swimming, with confidence, from an early age. Yes it is pricey but, how easy is it to spend that money on unnecessary purchases, and it is certainly value for money... Bella is 18months old and, despite loving the water, was anxious about getting in and out of the pool & being passed to our fabulous instructor Beth. Beth took the time to get to know Bella personally and soon discovered how to win her over. She is no longer clung to my neck and happily joins in the activities with her new friends... the sessions vary, and utilise familiar songs and nursery rhymes, adapted for the pool activities. The children are taught pool safety habits from the beginning, and class sizes are kept to a manageable level. I love our quality time and cannot believe how confident Bella has become in a matter of a few sessions. I have to admit, I don't actually mind being in the pool either!

Wouldn’t choose to go anywhere else!
We swim with Lilly in Plymouth and have done since June 2024. Our little ones confidence has sky rocketed and we couldn’t thank Lilly and the Water Babies team for this! I have dealt with Holly over the phone on numerous occasions who has always been happy to help and always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is always running smooth! Couldn’t thank everyone enough for all their support with Avas swimming since started and can’t wait to see her confidence grow more over time!

My son’s loved every class
The whole team has been welcoming and caring which has given us confidence from the beginning. My son was 4.5months when we started and he’s loved every class. It links in well with our other activities with crossovers of songs and signing so it’s so much more than swimming.

We love our water babies swimming…
We love our water babies swimming lessons. We've learnt a lot in the last 8 sessions. I feel very safe taking my son into water. The lessons are always fun and we learn a new skill most weeks. Kerri is brilliant, and makes you feel very welcome. She is great with the babies.
