Water Babies - Yorkshire Central & West Avis 

Excellent communication, staff very friendly & welcoming. Understood my child’s difficulty with the water and have adapted to him. Best swim school we have ever used, would recommend them to anyone

My granddaughter has been swimming with water babies for 4 years. The confidence and enjoyment she gets from every lesson is a pleasure to see. The lessons are fun and engaging and she looks forward to going every week.

My son has been attending these swimming classes and we’ve had a really good experience so far. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and great with kids, which has really helped build his confidence in the water. The lessons are well-structured but still fun, so he actually looks forward to going each time. It’s been lovely to see his progress. The only problem is there is no proper changing room for toddlers. Floor is always wet can't change him there. There is no proper and private shower room for mums. Sometimes its really hard to manage.

Class content is good, although sometimes feels a little rushed. Changing facilities are poor. Classes often cancelled due to issues with pool

It has been the best 3 years learning to swim with my little boy, we are sad its coming to an end! The classes are fun for both of us and my little boy has learnt essential life skills to keep him safe in water.

My 18 month old is so confident in water and has learned so many potentially life saving skills. His ability to swim underwater and to the surface on his own, swim independently on the surface with a pool noodle, and enter and exit the pool unaided is phenomenal. He loves the lessons and is now just desperate to swim in his own. I can’t thank water babies enough.

The swim instructors are fantastic, we had 2 in our time with water babies. From our first lesson when my little one was 6 weeks old to my last session when she was 8 months old. They were kind, helpful & most of all kept us safe in the water whilst having fun and bonding with our babies. It definitely helped my confidence & my little one has always loved the water & isn't scared at all.
The only reason for 1 star short of 5 was the venue, because it is a private school it wasn't catered for the usual public swimming. So the changing facilities weren't set up with cubicles, showers, changing tables for babies etc. However, it was very local for us, so we were happy to compromise on this. We could have had lessons further afield with a more formal changing facility but this wasn't practical for us to travel.

We have used water babies since 5 weeks old and have used 3 different locations for water babies lessons due to our back to work schedules changing. All 3 locations were very clean, the teachers are incredible and give lots of praise and confidence. The lessons are very interactive with lots of songs, games and fun filled Activities.

We really like water babies they have been so accommodating to the changes we have needed. Ross our teacher is so helpful and if you’re not sure what to do he will explain it again.

We started swimming with our LO when she was 6 months old. Straight away we loved the experience of being in the water with her! The classes were well-paced and fun. The teachers have been welcoming and so willing to be aware of the needs and feelings of the individual child. At first our LO loved the water, but as she got bigger she became more nervous about being in the pool. This was never an issue for the teachers and they were always willing to go steadier with our LO, listening to what she needed.
We've had several teachers over our time with Waterbabies, due to changes in our circumstances causing us to have to move pools. WaterBabies have always done their best to try and accomodate what we felt we needed - helping us to find lessons that worked with LOs nap times and meal times.
Though we are having to stop going to Waterbabies for now due to our own individual circumstances, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a swimming class for their little ones!

My daughter’s teacher Ross is really great. He really cares and is just very good at his job:) I’m very happy we got him as her/our teacher!

Lily loves her swimming lessons! Beck is a great teacher, the lessons are fast paced and Lily has come on so quickly since she has been learning here

We have tried various swimming lessons with different providers and WaterBabies has been the best choice for us! The staff are so supportive and completely understand the needs of the children. My child absolutely loves the lessons as they are so fun and engaging!
