Waxandbeans Avis

Found this shop while setting out for a hike with friends/family. What a find - great coffee naturally, but it's the atmosphere that really sells it! Took me back to when vinyl was king and how much I looked forward to having enough money saved from my Saturday job to buy my next Bowie album (although most of them were £2.99 then haha!) Big shout-out to Jon who was brilliant - he could see that I was desperate to own Space Oddity album (again) and put it to one side for me. We drove the 20 miles back to pick it and have brunch the following day - and it was well worth the trip!! Thanks all - I'll definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I pre ordered an album from them, but when it was due to arrive it didn’t show up for a week. After contacting them, I learned that it was an issue with the courier. After that, they said that they would send me a replacement and everything went smoothly after that! When I received the package not only did they include the vinyl, but they upgraded me for the inconvenience!!! Definitely worth it when the parcel is delayed/lost!!!

I buy from them online. One day when I’m fit enough I will visit in person. Unique products often available. Fast and efficient in every way. The best most professional online staff and quick responses. Thank you guys. You’re all amazing.

Absolutely outstanding independent music store.

I’m not local to the store but have made several online orders, super fast delivery and the best customer service, highly recommended.

A brilliant visit. Went to collect my RSD purchases. The staff were helpful, warm, and made me feel really valued. I bought some other records while I was there, they have a great choice, and great coffee too!

Awesome!

Absolutely the best breakfast in bury, great staff. Love this place

Found a difficult to source album, ordered and delivered within 2 days (and before bank holiday). Sweet handwritten message inside box which offered excellent protection.
Highly recommend and very chuffed 😊

I’m a fairly new vinyl collector. I found an album here, for a fair price, that was sold out in most other stockists. I’m glad it was as the hunt resulted in me discovering Wax and Beans. What amazing service! Superfast delivery, carefully packed, and the little personal note inside was everything. This is how you do online selling and create loyalty. This will now be my first choice when shopping new vinyl. Thank you W&B for a great experience 🥰

Ordering was simple, the service was exceptional, and there was a charming note included in the package. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

I've visited the store for food and drinks several times, and always found it warm and welcoming. Last week, I attended an intimate live performance there, and I enjoyed it so much, I felt compelled to write a review. The event was so well organised, and every staff member was warm and approachable. Wax & Beans is officially my new favourite place to eat / enjoy live music. I don't collect Vinyl (yet), but know where I'll be going for it, when I find space for a record player & collection at home!

Amazing Shop with amazing staff. I’ve bought in person and online. New Doves double LP arrived today. 11 out of 10 !! Highly recommended.

5 stars all the way. I have never been let down by Wax and Beans. I have bought records from here now for ages and also dined here. The staff are excellent and the menu is great.cooked fresh and with great local products. It’s easy to see why this place is popular. They often have live bands as well. This place just gives and gives

Popped in last week alone and didn't feel uncomfortable. Great service from a lovely friendly lady. Food came quickly and was very good. Table sharing is encouraged when they're busy but what a great way to meet new people.
I live in Bury but had never been in until last week. Lovely atmosphere.

So, i dont live in Bury, and have never actually been to Wax & Beans. And for that I'm kind of sad: records+coffee=heaven. I'm still a newish online customer, but speedily delivered records with a personal touch - with little notes, I LOVE the little notes! - and always wrapped with care, well what's not to love? One day i hope to swing by for a Dirty Chai and a flick through records. In the meantime I'll continue to give this marvellous independent record store my business before any others.

We had a lovely experience here after visiting bury town centre for the first time in a while. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. There was a arcade machine for our little boy to play on, and DJs playing records in the shop.

Amazing place and staff
Totally went above and beyond.
Saw the Band 'Cardinal Black '
Awesome in every way ,sooo talented.

Will be back very soon and even our cheeky doggo 'Frank' is on the guest list!

The Hot Chocolate is to die for!
And sampled a lovely glass of Red!!

What a great service! They even rang me to tell me that one of the records I had ordered had a crease so they ordered a new one from the supplier to send out to me. Both records arrive packaged really well and securely. Highly reccomended!
