My wife was diagnosed with a terminal illness and we needed to get our affairs in line and sort out a will. We approached WDS and they started off understanding and empathetic. They agreed that if we pay an ‘enhanced’ fee they will treat us with priority and expedite everything in our case and gave us assurances it would be done in an extra timely manner, setting out the expected timeline for completion.

We (naively) paid the agreed fee up front and then the true colours of this god awful company came to light. We had to continually chase and remind them that we were waiting and that time is precious, and they were now less than understanding and showed zero empathy whatsoever.

After the timeline they initially set out for us had passed (by many weeks) we were still being fobbed off with ‘yes we are aware, ‘it’s in the do to list’, ‘your adviser will see to it when they can’, ‘your adviser is on holiday and it would be improper for anybody else to up pick on someone else's workload’. Hardly a priority.

In the end it took almost two months longer than they initially stated. We complained given that we paid an ‘enhanced’ fee but this was refused with a rather rude and shockingly obnoxious reply.

Fortunately, the will was sorted before it was too late, but not without very unnecessary distress, worry, inconvenience, and extra loss of money. They really showed such little regard or care and were just after our money

truely awful company. They might claim they are now under new management, but the reality is that this dreadful company is still owned and managed by the same frauster family Nothing but a bunch of lying crooks intent on taking people for as much money as they can, whilst providing the absolute rock bottom of unregulated service.

Often later/years down the line when you attempt to use the product they set up there are issues/errors, and at that point WDS will deny any accountability or assistance or will slam the door in your face whilst laughing with your money.

Take your good money to a different business which isn't run by fradulant lying crooks!

We had a WhatsApp video call with Abim. The whole process from start to finish was very easy. Abim was very helpful and polite.

Now that my will is finally in my possession and I’m done with having to deal with WDS let me give my lasting thought:

As a lady of 55 years I have a few regrets in life. Choosing to part ways with my money and deal with WDS is one of those regrets. I think I would rather die without a will than have to deal with these folk again ha!!

My elderly parents saw a flyer/ad in a community post for WDS and contacted them to talk about future proofing their house and assets for their children. They already had a will in place elsewhere which perfectly sufficed their needs. WDS sent a representative round to their house in a flash to talk through options. When my parents told family about it and the price they were quoted we were horrified. Most of the ‘services’ were completely unnecessary add-ons, and they were advised to cancel their current will and to rewrite it with WDS (for an unnecessary fee) and with no great changes to the specifics/contents of the will. My parents have fortunately come to their senses and cut ties with WDS - not without hassle and fuss of pestering phone calls almost daily from Lance. I contacted WDS to complain but that fell on deaf ears. The responses from Charlie/others at WDS came across really unprofessional, brash, arrogant and uncaring. My parents don’t use the internet and wouldn’t have thought to check out reviews or to shop around, and simply trusted the flyer and the representative who visited. Really bad salesmanship and bad professional practices, especially on vulnerable elderly people. I would warn others to be wary of this company.

My Parents paid for will they never recieved and we are now told that the wills have been destroyed. Do not use these people they are crooks

Abim was extremely helpful and informative. His friendly manner and professionalism put us at our ease. He obviously knew his job and did it well

I had an issue with communication at WDS associates and Miss Charlie Diamond sorted it out for me very promptly

Sean Baxter from WDS made the whole process of amending our wills extremely easy to understand. We very much appreciated his expertise, knowledge and advise in ensuring our wills are p to date and legally binding. He was also happy to answer any questions and points raised by us. Waiting now 2+ years for my father's probate to finish with no updates, even when requested. I was let down twice regarding LPA for my mother, no calls, no answered messages. My sister and I are going through the process alone.

My experience with WDS started nearly 30 years ago and I've always found them helpful and reliable. This has been demonstrated especially since the death of my wife and the administration of her Estate and other attendant matters. In addition there has been a major improvement in the personal contact and I fully commend them on the new standard of Customer service.

Abim was very helpful in filling the forms and very good at explaining everything. Highly recommended

Trust and security

STING IN THE TAIL! They insisted we pay a £48 administration charge upon cancellation just to return a couple of documents to us! This figure was a complete surprise. Clearly WDS are unaware of Key Consumer Rights Regarding Cancellation Fees:
"Cancellation fees must be transparent, proportionate, and agreed upon before the contract is formed. Hidden, surprise charges or arbitrary fees that were not disclosed upfront are generally deemed unfair and may be unenforceable."

My family had a remote wattsapp verification process today, we found the process very easy and convenient than travelling to Bath to sign land registry forms .
Abim talked us through the process and we found him very helpful and he advised how long the land registry process would take due to the back log.

Abim made the call super quick and easy. I got a call the same day and he made the process incredibly straightforward
