I have worked with Alexa for a number of years whilst training for a range of running events and distances.
The training program is always tailored to suit 'real life' whilst building progression and setting challenges.
Alexa is a great support when things aren't going so well - eg illness / injury - with practical advice and a managed way forward.
A very worthwhile investment
The coach (Coach Cathy) was prompt, friendly and professional. She'd made sure in advance I understood the plan and delivered. Running MOT & Coaching with Anne-Marie
A well deserved 5 stars.
I had an initial telephone chat with Anne-Marie. I outlined my marathon history & objectives, while she shared her coaching experience and suggestions on how she could help. We agreed to book 2 sessions, an initial assessment, and a follow-up 2 weeks later.
The assessment was very comprehensive, using video analysis of me on the treadmill at various paces. We discussed her observations and recommendations, and she emailed me a written report the next morning.
The follow-up, including further treadmill work, allowed us to review progress and reinforce the key recommendations.

I’ve been working with Kate for the past 4 years, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better coach. When I first started, I had absolutely no running background — I wasn’t a runner at all. Kate believed in me from day one, and with her constant guidance, encouragement, and incredible knowledge, she helped me build not only fitness but also real confidence in myself. Step by step, she showed me how to improve, always paying attention to the smallest details, whether it’s form, pacing, recovery, or nutrition.
What makes Kate special is how much she truly cares. She doesn’t just hand out a training plan; she adapts everything to my lifestyle and goals, checking in, motivating me, and always knowing exactly when to push and when to pull back. Thanks to her support and dedication, I’ve achieved things I never thought possible. From not being able to run at all, I’ve now stood on the podium in races — including taking 2nd place in a 10 km race, something I could never have imagined when I first started.

Friendly coaching for first-time marathon
When I started training with Alexa about 2 years ago, I had just done my first ever 10km run. With her coaching, I've not only gotten faster at the 5k and 10k, but worked up to my first marathon this year! I don't think I would have done that without Alexa's help. The training was just hard enough - never felt like it was pushing me beyond my abilities but building up speed and endurance over time through sustainable habits. After my time with Alexa I am feeling so much more confident in my abilities and actually joined a proper running club - something that would have seemed very intimidating a few years ago.

The running MOT I had with coach Sophie…
The running MOT I had with coach Sophie was so helpful. I came away from the session feeling that we had covered so much ground and useful techniques I could take away (from warm up, whilst running and for cooling down). I have been running a while but having a 1:1 session with a coach was more beneficial than I could have anticipated due to her looking at my own style and targeting the session to my needs. Would definitely recommend!
Fantastic session with Coach Mairi
Fantastic session with Coach Mairi! She helped me to build a comprehensive plan to get ready for my first half marathon. We did running warm ups, reviewed my running form and pace alongside level of effort (1-10), and built strategies to help me improve my endurance. I greatly appreciate her time and expertise! The session gave me a lot more confidence on how to prepare well for race day.

I used we run to find a running coach as I was doing a half marathon. Training with Rowan give me the confidence for my half marathon and helped me improve my running. He also give me advice on what to do before and after a run to help my recovery.

Loved working with coach Kate - she supported me on the road to a trail 50k and an Alps trail running trip too. Having a little break from ultra running but will definitely come back when I was to pursue endurance running again. Would most definitely ask to work with Kate again.
Running MOT for a Middle Aged Novice Runner
After a false start where the first coach I was paired with didn’t get in touch, I was then paired with Lauren, who was brilliant. She was patient, listened to all my concerns and goals, and matched her coaching session to them perfectly so that everything was addressed in the 90 mins we had together. I feel that she has made a lasting difference to my approach to running, both mentally and physically.
Lee Wilkinson - best run coach you’ll find in London!
I have been training with Lee for over a year now and have absolutely loved every session!
In our initial session Lee taught me how to run correctly and gave me exercises to improve my technique and prevent injury.
Every session we do together is different, enjoyable and is adapted to how I feel and performing on the day. Not only is it technically a great session and my running speed and technique has drastically improved since working with Lee, but he is also one of the kindest people I have met. I always look forward to a good catch up and would be continuing to train with Lee if I wasn’t moving abroad.
