These are my fave instant soups.
You won’t find any nasties in these sachets.
They are great for work lunches but I also travelled to Scotland from London by rail armed with a trusty tin mug, flask of hot water, a spoon and a couple of these soups.
Best travel food ever . Worthy of Five star review .

Spicy soups
For an instant soup these are very tasty and a good thickness in comparison to others on the market.
I ordered the variety pack and I least like the tomato one. If I have one criticism it's that the soups are in danger of being just a cup of different spices perhaps the spice (heat) element of the flavour could be reduced a little ? It didn't however put me off ordering a second variety pack(2) which I will be sharing with other soup lovers.

Tried the sample pack first
Not too keen on the beetroot, but the pumpkin is lovely with a hint of spice too!
Much healthier than regular cuppa soups, love the fact I’m getting 1of5 a day with minimal effort! Perfect for work or on the go

Couldn’t wait to try the Beetroot and Coconut soup as it’s one of my favourites to make at home. I’m sorry but the taste just isn't there, I’m not sure what I can taste but it’s not a hearty flavour. I’m really sorry I can’t make a better review.
Perhaps you could improve on the flavour.
I too wish I’d have tried the samples instead of buying a full box which I now have to throw away

Hi Helen. I am so sorry this one missed the mark for you... this isn't the standard reaction to our best selling soup but I appreciate you giving it a try! Taste is personal, and as a health first brand with low salt and no added sugar, we always suggest seasoning to taste... a pinch of salt or grind of pepper can make a big difference if this is what you are used too.
Comparing it to your favourite homemade version is a high bar (as it should be!), but we do think a 1-star feels a little harsh. I'd love to make it up to you and send over a taste bundle - just drop us an email and I'll make it happen bella@wearesoulkitchen.com. Absolutely delicious soups,my favourite is the beetroot but all of them are lovely. Very quick and convenient to make especially while at work but without compromising on quality ingredients instead of the usual rubbish that gets called “food” these days! Excellent idea and very well executed,good job!! Price is also reasonable and postage is very quick.

At Soul Kitchen, we’re all about bold, globally inspired flavours, which we aim to make clear in both the product names and descriptions (e.g. Mexican-style Tomato & Red Pepper, Thai-style Beetroot & Coconut, Curried Sweet Potato & Pumpkin). That said, we completely understand that everyone’s spice tolerance is different, and I’m sorry if this aspect didn’t come across clearly enough. With regards to your comment that the soups had "no flavour at all," I’m a little unsure how best to interpret that, especially given your earlier mention of finding the spice level too strong.
Personally, I find the Mexican Tomato & Red Pepper and Thai Beetroot & Coconut quite mild and flavourful.... but of course, taste can subjective, and your honest input is really valuable to us.

Delicious and easy to make soups
I saw an advert for a sample pack on Instagram and I am so please I purchased it. I love these soups and they are exactly what I need. Easy to carry around, easy to make and you feel like they are actually good for you too! I saw a review saying they were bland and I couldn't disgaree more. Full of flavour and a nice spice to them. The thai beetroot was just amazing. I have already purcased x2 12 packs and will be getting more in the future too.

Our soups are packed with natural flavour from herbs and spices (instead of excess salt and sugar) but of course we appreciate everyones taste varies! We know taste is deeply personal, and while many love the bold flavours in our soups, we also hear from some who find them a little too spicy. We intentionally keep salt levels low to support those reducing sodium, but you're always welcome to season to taste at home.

I didn't enjoy them. The spices were overpowering and I won't be buying them again.
They don't mix very well quite lumpy.

At Soul Kitchen, we love bold, internationally inspired flavours (Thai style Beetroot & Coconut, Mexican style Tomato & Red Pepper, and Curried Sweet Potato & Pumpkin). We understand that everyone experiences spice differently, which is why we we've labelled our soups with these International cuisines. During recipe development we also tested them against common benchmarks to classify them as medium heat. That said, spice levels are always subjective, and we truly appreciate your honesty.
As for the mixing... our soups are made with wholefood powdered ingredients and no emulsifiers or gums so they might take a little bit more mixing. For the smoothest result, we recommend following these instructions: Add 100ml freshly boiled water to your mug or bowl. Empty your sachet (on top of the water) and add a further 150ml of hot water. Stir well, rest of 2 minutes then enjoy!
