I'm sorry the path to closing this deal went the way it did. Even though we ultimately purchased your Q50 on the 7th, it sounds like the rescheduling friction shaped the whole experience, and that's a fair criticism.

Reliable scheduling and clear communication are part of what we owe every customer. Falling short on either undermines the rest of the work, and it shouldn't have gone this way for you.

Process Needs Improvement, but Solid Option & Good Staff

I received an initial valuation of $1.6k after including almost every issue and then it was raised via email a few weeks later of over $2k. At inspection, the offered was reduced very low to scrap level value, which shocked me given I had already indicated the issues they marked on the inspection. I did not appreciate this. A couple things were mentioned to me--their online site made it very hard to identify a steering issue, and somewhere in the process of revaluation and upping their offer, they lost the initial issues I had marked. These point to some glitches in their system and process.

Ultimately, I sold the car to avoid the headache of trying another method, but was disappointed in the final value. The associates were very personable and I appreciated them, their hands were just tied by the process/algorithms they use.

Upon posting an initial low review detailing my experience, a customer service rep (Joe) gave me a call. He listened well to my concerns and noted a couple areas where my feedback was helpful and where their valuation process needs to be improved. This customer service was much appreciated and he offered to make things right for me, which we discussed and came to an agreement on. I'm raising my review because this company still is a good option and their associates and customer service are spot-on.

When you completed your online valuation, no mechanical or physical issues were reported. During our professional appraisal at our Stow, OH location, our team noted a number of items that were not disclosed online and that can affect a vehicle’s value. These included:

• Air conditioning blowing warm air
• Belt noise from the engine
• Power sliding doors not functioning on both sides
• Jack damage to both driver and passenger side rocker panels

We understand your concern about the difference between the online valuation and the final offer. The offer presented reflected the actual condition of the vehicle as assessed during the in-person inspection. We always invite our customers to join us during the appraisal process so they can see what we see and understand how we arrive at our valuation.

We also want to clarify that our notes do not show that your vehicle was flagged as inoperable. We apologize for any miscommunication that may have occurred during your visit and appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Was skeptical about using a car buying…

Was skeptical about using a car buying service but didn’t want the hassle of selling it to a private party. WBAC gave me the highest offer on line. I set an appointment and was sure the actual “in person” offer would be different, but it was the same! Jared was a joy to work with! Highly recommend this company!

Super easy way to sell of a car

Super easy way to get rid of a car. The guy who did the assessment was very thorough and polite. He discovered some frame rust that obviously dropped the price to scrap, which is not his fault, so that part was a bummer, but I'd still use them in the future for an older car or something I wasn't trading in. So much safer than inviting strangers to your house or wasting time meeting people who stand you up or haggle you to oblivion.
