I do see from the detailed notes that your appointment took over two hours to complete. We advertise appointments should take about one hour and it’s clear we missed the mark. We know your time is valuable and there is no excuse. We apologize without reservation.

We’re also sorry if we gave you the impression that we are trying to rip you off. The reason we provide a detailed explanation and invite customers to join us as we inspect their vehicle is because we believe in transparency. We want all our customers to understand why we arrived at the price we did and are comfortable with their decision to sell.

The 2006 Toyota had a damaged grille, misaligned front bumper, damage to the side mirrors, as well as interior damage to the seats, center console and dashboard. There were electrical faults and engine noise was detected by our buyer. The vehicle was in rough shape with items that are considered outside the scope of normal wear and tear. Once we identified these issues, we had to factor them in when making our firm offer.

Since you’ve expressed seller’s remorse and the vehicle has not yet been picked up, we will cancel the scheduled pickup and make arrangements for you to return the funds to webuyanycar.com. We appreciate your honesty and are happy to do the right thing.

For transparency, during the appraisal we noted some physical defects on the vehicle, including issues with the tailgate/trunk lid, driver-side doors, and rear bumper. Additionally, the diagnostic scan revealed three active codes related to the Antilock Brake System:

• C0200 – Front Speed Sensor RH Circuit
• C0205 – Front Speed Sensor LH Circuit
• C0210 – Rear Speed Sensor RH Circuit

These findings were identified during our inspection process, which is designed to verify the actual condition of the vehicle. Customers are always invited to join the appraisal process to see what we see. The online valuation is based solely on the information provided at the time, and these issues were not reported during that step.
