A contract you can’t get out of, and no compensation if necessary features don’t work.
I am not one to leave reviews - especially if they aren’t positive, but this is one time I feel it’s absolutely necessary to speak up to forewarn others.
This is a company that oozes with care and concern when you are signing up, but when there is an issue their true colors come out. When necessary features of my white label app weren’t working for me there is no compensation, because I still had the other features the app provided (that I didn’t actually use or care to have).
When I decided I was no longer using their software I tried to get out of my contract early - but there was no budging. They tried to keep me by offering to drop my monthly fees ridiculously low, offered even more features at this low price, and they challenged me in an unprofessional way to see if my new software company actually valued me as a client.
The offer they made to keep me was comically amazing, but my integrity had enough of this company. The fact that I had to decide to leave to see how low my fees could be did not sit well with me at all. They absolutely refuse to let me out of my contract, and my current software provider has generously allowed me to use theirs for FREE (for 9 months!!!) until my contract is finished with WL. My new provider normally doesn’t offer to do that, but when they saw the emails I received from WL they couldn’t stand for the way I was being spoken to, and how they were being slandered as a company.
I started in June trying to end my contract, and in December I finally felt “finished” and that I no longer had to deal with them anymore. I was often waiting for 2+ weeks to get responses via email once they knew I was standing firm in my cancellation decision. But when I first reached out to cancel the were amazingly quick to respond… it’s funny how you quickly lose priority when you aren’t seen as a valued client anymore.
If you don’t care about good customer service when you are having problems, or not actually receiving the full value for your money - the software has a ton of features and works well for the most part. I’ll give it that. But if you want to work with a company that values you, wants to work with you to make you understand the software and offer one on one support when needed - I DO NOT RECOMMEND signing up with them. They will not take accountability for their issues/mistakes and as a customer we are just supposed to be ok paying for things even when they aren’t working as promised.
I should have left much sooner.
