WeONLYmot - Mansfield Avis 13

I went to the Mansfield branch. They were ready for my 2.20pm appointment. Really friendly staff. The process was done in between 25-30mins. paid £50 MOT done . Highly recommend them. 5star service. Also 2 very lovely doggies for cuddles whilst you wait.

I do not recommend this place!
My first MOT test failed due to an allegedly misaligned headlight, even though I had never had any issues with it before. I went to a mechanic who was supposed to fix the problem. The next day, I returned for a re-test, only to be told once again that the headlight was still incorrectly aligned.

Determined to resolve the issue, I visited another mechanic who replaced the bulb and used a professional alignment tool to ensure the light was set at the correct angle. I was there in person and saw that everything was in order. When I returned for another inspection, the older gentleman at the station, who is extremely arrogant, informed me that they were on their dinner break and that I would have to wait an hour. While I fully understand the importance of breaks, checking a headlight takes only a moment, so I scheduled another appointment for the next morning.

To my frustration, the same gentleman didn’t even sit in the car or use any proper measuring tool—he simply declared that the headlight was still misaligned. At this point, I decided to take my car to another MOT station without mentioning my previous issues. There, the tester used the correct alignment tool, and, unsurprisingly, the headlight was perfectly within the allowed limits.

How is this possible? Because of this man’s incompetence, I lost both time and money. I am deeply disappointed by this experience and will be filing an official complaint with We Only MOT regarding this older gentleman’s unprofessional and unpleasant attitude towards customers.

A friendly garage which gave me lots of advice and assisted me in finding somewhere to have work completed due to it failing the MOT (First time ever). The welcoming from the gorgeous dogs was fabulous and they made me feel very special, I even indulged them with a treat.

The repair was carried out and my car passed its MOT. Thank you Ian for you help and the attention from your fabulous pooches. Karen

The attitude of the mot guy and the way he speaks to women is so bad we only mot should be ashamed employing should horrible little man! Also they let my partner drive away with the brake pipes that they damaged leaking really bad they just told her to use the hand brake to stop!

In and out in 40 minutes! Couldn't have asked for friendlier service and the dogs are an excellent little pleasure too!

Never use the Mansfield branch of we only MOT if you are a female, my partner had a horrible experience which I had the horror of watching.

You'll be treated like you have no idea what a car even is, the staff members will be rude, obnoxious and patronizing - I've never been in a place where I've felt so uncomfortable, I know she felt the same.

Horrendously operated franchise location, whose staff wouldn't know customer service if it slapped them around the face. They would however know it, if it were in the bosom of a leggy-blonde with double Ds.

Disgusting behavior from the staff,one star because you can't give zero!!

Took car to Mansfield branch. Welcomed by spaniels which is nice as long as you like dogs which I do. MOT was dealt with swiftly. Cuppa would have been nice but this place did exactly what it said it would and I couldn't fault it. Would return.

Back again for an MOT on my car, and the guys (Jock, Ian & Mark) went above and beyond with customer service and two cups of coffee to boot :) A pleasure going there.

Once again I visited the Mansfield branch and can't fault them at all, great chatting with Marc and Ian. Wouldn't go elsewhere.

I have been to the mansfield branch twice now and both my experiences have been extremely pleasant.
Jock and Ian the guys who was working was brilliant and a real laugh. I was asking a lot of questions and they helped me with them all.
Very friendly and welcoming.

Recently I had a MOT test at the Mansfield branch of WeOnlyMOT. The place is a nightmare, i had to have several MOT's and each time I came back for a retest i had another MOT failure. When i asked what the issue was they could not explain the problem just gave me a MOT failure slip. They seemed to be not interested in what they did and were interested in getting you out the door. The two MOT tester's we're not polite and swore constantly, one MOT testers even had there dog's roaming the place. Very unprofessional and dangerous, in the end i had to take my car to another MOT station and passed. Will never go back!

Used Mansfield branch in the past, never again. The bitter bald man whose name I believe to be Ian is one nasty character.
Told him what time I was booked in for only for him to point at table and mumble 'keys'.
Asked him what time to come back and was completely ignored.
At that time they were doing an offer if two cars from same family were getting an MOT so my other half booked hers in for a later date.
When I returned to pay for my MOT he automatically took both payments without asking if this was okay. I ignored this as I was happy to pay both but not really the point. While paying I was told not to be so stupid and that I don't like spending money. Up to this point I had not said a word to him. Needless to say my other half cancelled her MOT and we will never use this branch again. Have used Ollerton branch since and what a difference.

Now having had a reply from we only MOT can I ask if this person ever gets spoken due regarding his attitude as I have read other similar reviews on Google about the same person.
