The assessment day was the the first part, you advertise for part and full time yet on the day your officer states that there is no part time only full time. I mean why advertise this if this was the case.

Then the charade just carries on, you have the job, this is the dates your training will commence. Then another call, we need to move your training, then they say it was 3 weeks training now it's 4 weeks. Drop everything why don't you.

When you chase them up for a start date, the goal post moves again, then they state, just waiting in a few references, which I know was not the case.

Then they drop the hammer and say that you have not got it because you failed vetting, suddenly from references to you have failed vetting. Nice.

Such a cowboy operation you would not believe.
I have spoken to a few people, not mentioning any names, the blatant racism that was on display was sickening, left after a few days. I would stay away.

Watched a video on YouTube that show this force for what it is, an absolute disgrace, to put it mildly.
Complete abuse of powers and outright lies within by members of the force to get an innocent man arrested for absolutely no reason. It is all on camera which highlights the snakeish ways in which they operate to completely fabricate something out of nothing wasting massive amounts of resources, using tax payers money, to falsely arrest a guy, holding him for 12 hours only to conclude no further action to be taken.
It really saddened me to watch this, the amount of police involved over a none existent ‘incident’. They obviously all knew they were mistaken early on, but still persisted to arrest the poor guy and hold him for so long, then not give him his property that they had seized back for another 24 hours.
It seemed like a big game from start to finish from the force, ultimately costing taxpayers a lot of money, not only that I’m sure there will rightfully be a large compensation claim following this, which will also be funded by us. The officers involved will not be punished as it seemed the instruction had came from higher up which only amplifies the problem.
Something needs to be done these are nothing but a bunch of corrupt tyrants that are supposed to protect and serve!!

Just watched a video on YouTube regarding an arrest. I am so disgusted at the way this gentleman was arrested for what ????? The so called officers need to be brought to account. I pay tax to pay their wages disgusting

Our car was stolen 2.5 hours later they closed the case and wouldn’t be investigated gives people the impression it’s okay to steal cars so I know where my new career path lies.

Complete waste of time, police only use is to enforce fines protect corporations and pedophiles nothing else. I was attacked by my neighbours dog I also have a fear of dogs, I was told if a dog is approaching me barking, growling and trying to bite me that means the dog just wants attention. I was told if I'm outside my door as I live in a maisonette my neighbours dog is free to attack me daily and I'm just supposed to deal with that. I cannot access my back garden or my shed due to this dog being on the loose according to the law. I wasn't aware that I simply had to get used to an animal I fear because of the law as described by officer collar number 59489. I guess him being a dog owner his opinion can not possibly be biased in anyway. Also I'm subjected to the dog barking 24/7 I work 830 to 530 so I take it I don't need any sleep. The office told me it was my choice whether I access my own garden where the dog who tried to attack me is normally located, its my choice if I want to access my shed where the dog who tried to attack me is always roaming around by my shed and garden. I was told its my choice if i want to leave my property to go to work or any other reason its lawful for me to be attacked on my door step.This is what I pay taxes for seems like dogs have more rights then myself, I think HMRC should start taxing dogs to fund the police to do nothing as they don't prevent anything. I was told that I cannot defend myself as the dog had rights to attack me outside my door, I don't have any other entrance to my property. Unless police expect me to leave a window open and advertise to the neighbourhood how to break into my home everyday. West midlands police your doing an amazing job of doing absolutely nothing

The salary is not the best but is ok. But the main issue is too many 'I know it all and if you don't play by my rules I'll make your life hell'. The work environment is awful, too much snitching. Management make an issue out of everything.

The mentors think they run the show there. Supervisors do not listen to staff.

Hardly any staff, breaks are timed literally you cannot be a second late. Bullying is common practice. You make a mistake and they talk to you like a kid. Staff leave because of the flaws.

Honestly list can go on. My serious advice please do not apply.

The police with another organisations abused their power of trust and shared information that was inaccurate, biased, personal and made inferences drawn upon those assumptions this then ruined my career, financial situation and reputation and to date the Police are failing to accept the truth even though it can be clearly proven.

There has been a clear miscarriage of justice and they appear obtuse and not recognising the real truth.

The whole experience has been devastating to my family the Police have powers which they clearly abuse and no can stand up to they simply can say whatever they want and other organisations are just as bad in believing them such as social work Englands and view their information as absolute no questions

I have tried to contact Clive Guilford the head of the Police but had no response since I wrote my report as no one appears to be listening or helping me

I have even been through the complaints procedure several times and they are equally as dismissive

I can't even get legal aid to help with the costs as I have been financially ruined and this relates to Irwin and Mitchel Solcitors who failed to intervene when the time was right.

The Police cannot cannot be trusted especially if your black or Asian you are twice as likely to be marginalised this has been and always be a total miscarriage of justice and the Police confuse to fail and not to be trusted

Asking to report a crime , was refused a crime reference number for no apparent reason by a very rude and nonchalant phone operator. Really sickening.

West Midlands Police are the most USELESS police in the UK if not the world.

I reported serious crimes before (more than once) only to be “it will take up to 8 hours for the Police to attend as we don’t have the officers”.

There is just no police force in the West Midlands, so incompetent & impotent that they literally exist in name only. And criminals and thugs are having a crime feast & getting away with it.

We had a break in and kids destroyed walls and buildings with graffiti they broke doors and locked gates and tried to break into other areas. They left a mess and the police say they don’t need to come out. What as our country come to? Why can’t you the police protect us. Why ?

I am a great supporter of the Police and understand they have a very difficult job. However its now impossable to stand up for them. As the Snr Managerial team are so poor..As they are so woke and into and priortise virtue -signalling silly stunts over dealing with real crime. Thats if you see them out on the beat.
So very sad to what Ir recall of them in the past.

Do nothing ..sexually harressed in a hospital on going investigation, physically assaulted by neighbours with proof, partner arrested protecting me. police ...well...no comment......I do not and never will trust them after my experience....

As a brother who was stabbed numerous of times and the person you arrested with the knife who you later released with no charge!!!!

We had a crime after contacting Rowley Regis police via email & th police commissioner office no luck I rang up the police commissioner office said been logged but I want action no words theft inquire the live chat load crap waiting over one hour still no one talk to

De centralising the Police and making it local to the towns, would be better.
Retrain police pursue criminals.
More police on the beat less time in the office. Respond quicker and more efficiently and effectively.
Look into organised thefts. Stop men from gathering in groups it's intimidating . CRIME has risen significantly over the last few years. Im sure its even higher than the data says, but alot of people don't report it because of lack oF response and or outcome.
I'm disappointed at the lack of service to the people its supposed to serve and protect. Policing needs more man power on the ground not stuck in an office in another town
