We have just had solar panel instillation by WestQuay Energy. Being a Quantity Surveyor I have dealt with thousands of suppliers over the years.

In all my years I have never come across such an efficient, well managed, competent, professional company. Everyone in the company are so friendly and a pleasure to deal with from the office team to the electricians and carpenters they were all super.

Definitely a 5 star plus to WestQuay Energy, good value, superior workman ship and lovely people to deal with.

Last Autumn through social media I became aware that the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) had arranged an information evening in Belcarra, Co. Mayo. The SEAI's brief is, of course, to promote & to encourage all of us to switch to a more sustainable form of living.
For some time I had been thinking about having solar panels installed but that's as far as it went because, in truth, I didn't know much about the subject.
On the evening in question in Belcarra, I made it my business to talk to & to put set questions to the few solar panel providers there. Listening to each & what they had to say, without question, Mr Oliver Killeen of West Quay Energy, Westport was the forerunner. Armed with my house plans, Mr. Killeen sat me down & explained in detail how the system works & based on the plans, the numbers living in the house etc, he came up with a suitably sized system best suited to our needs.
The day following that Belcarra meeting, I contacted Mr. Killeen to tell him that he had successfully secured my business. Within an hour or two he rang to give me a commencement date & to confirm that all work would be completed in two working days. West Quay stood by every aspect of it. By the end of that second day, sure enough, we were up & running! We could scarcely believe it.
The components & materials they used are all of top quality. Indeed, some of the brands are even well known to me. Mr. Killeen also steered us through the €1,800 grant process. It has been paid. Also, included in the cost of the overall package was a Building Energy Rating (BER) accessor's survey. Following the completion of the work, our new BER Certificate provides us with a much higher rating than heretofore.
