Very bad experience
Very bad experience.Dental Ezel.Instanbul. I came with pain in only one tooth, but ended up with multiple root canal treatments (around 12), 4–5 extracted teeth, and a total cost of about 8200€ instead of the originally discussed 3600€ for 28 zirconia crowns.
My front teeth are asymmetric, and after only 2.5 months part of a zirconia tooth broke off. I was told there is a 5-year warranty, but when I sent a photo, I was told to come back in person. Traveling again would cost me around 500€, and a refund was refused.
I also received no proper documentation (for implants, zircon crowns, or treatment). Later I found out the implants were Turkish (~200–250€), but I was charged 500€ per implant.
Communication was very poor, appointments were delayed for hours, I even missed my flight because of the clinic, and when I said I would leave a review, I was told they could take legal action.
I do not recommend this clinic.

WhatClinic.com is truly an exceptional platform. There is simply no equal to it. Although there are similar platforms in the market, none can match WhatClinic.com in terms of service, support, and overall value. They fully deserve the success and recognition they have achieved. As Risus Clinic Istanbul, we highly recommend WhatClinic.com to everyone.

Same Patient, Multiple Leads — A Transparency Issue
I’ve noticed a concerning pattern on WhatClinic regarding how enquiries are handled.
It appears that a single patient enquiry can be distributed or replicated across multiple clinics in a way that generates multiple leads from the same individual. While this may benefit the platform in terms of volume, it creates several issues in practice.
For clinics, this leads to unnecessary competition over the same patient, wasted time, duplicated follow-ups, and distorted performance metrics. Clinics may believe they are receiving unique leads, when in reality they are engaging with the same enquiry repeatedly.
For patients, the experience can become overwhelming and confusing. Receiving multiple responses from different clinics—sometimes triggered by what feels like a single action—can reduce trust and make it harder to make a clear, informed decision.
Additionally, it is concerning that communication between patients and clinics appears to be monitored or accessible by the platform. Even if this is stated within their policies, it raises serious questions around privacy, data handling, and the boundaries of a neutral marketplace.
A more transparent and fair system—where enquiries are clearly unique, controlled, and intentionally distributed—would significantly improve trust on both sides.
I believe the platform has strong potential, but refining how leads are generated and distributed would make a meaningful difference for both patients and providers.

Our Irish Attorney started a lawsuit against them
This corrupt site has committed an illegal unilateral action by deactivating our profile without prior notification or transparent investigation in response to a blackmailing from a NOBODY repeat offender whose facing a criminal lawsuit in her country for defamation. They illegally removed our listing including our data and more than 450 VERIFIED reviews from GENUINE patients along 15 years!! They clearly violated their own policies, They lied about making reviews check, failed to prove any violation of reviews policies, and neglected to respond to our local IRISH Attorney emails and postmails. Our Attorney has already started a lawsuit to retrieve our data, restore our profile, and claim damages in compensation for the financial, Ethical , and psychological harms.

Great platform with outstanding customer support
I had a very positive experience with WhatClinic. The platform itself is clear, well-structured, and genuinely helpful in connecting patients with my work.
I especially want to highlight Georgi, who was extremely professional, responsive, and supportive throughout the process. He took the time to explain things clearly, followed up promptly, and made the whole experience smooth and reassuring. His support felt personal rather than automated, which really makes a difference.
Overall, a reliable service with excellent customer support. Highly recommended

WhatClinic helps me a lot with clinic promotion and getting overseas patients.
WhatClinic helps me a lot with clinic promotion on Google, getting more overseas patients, even though some of them didn't decide to have the operations with me. I'm happy about your services.
The only reason not to give 5 stars is that I had to separately claim the cashback offer rather than it being automatic, and I rarely receive a response after submitting a refund request. Screening for a location selection error should be done before sending a message to the clinic, as my clinic is located in a remote area, not in a capital or a big city.

Don’t trust this company
Don’t trust this company! They must be paid by the businesses they list on their website because I wrote an honest review and they declined to put it up, clearly they don’t want any bad reviews associated with them which makes them untrustworthy. People have the right to know the bad experiences of real customers so they know what they’re getting into. I booked AYT Clinic (Antalya) that I found through What Clinic’s website and couldn’t go through with the surgery due to my health but they stole £800 from me then refused to give me an invoice! What Clinic clearly knows what type of businesses they support and doesn’t want the bad reviews!

Well the only thing
Well the only thing
That I may complain about is that it took long time for approve and publish my review
Review guidelines restrict honest, fact-based patient experiences
My experience submitting a patient review on WhatClinic was disappointing and concerning.
Although my review was factual and supported by documentation (including my original surgery report, revision surgery report, and an Australian healthcare document identifying the issue), I was repeatedly advised that it could not be published unless rewritten in a way that significantly diluted the meaning.
For example, I was required to replace factual statements drawn directly from written medical reports with vague qualifiers such as “as I understood”. I was also not permitted to describe the actual surgical technique performed during my revision and was instructed to use wording such as “a different breast lift”, which removes important clinical context for future patients.
I was further advised that second-opinion reports could not be framed as authoritative findings, even when those opinions exist in formal written medical documentation. As a patient, this makes it extremely difficult to accurately explain why a revision was required without introducing artificial uncertainty where none exists.
Another serious concern is that the price I submitted was changed without my consent. I entered the exact amount I paid for my surgery — $7,540 — yet the published review displayed a significantly higher figure ($13,344). This alteration was not made by me and does not reflect the true cost of my procedure. Changing factual financial information undermines the accuracy of the review and may mislead prospective patients.
I also want to note that WhatClinic offered a reframed version of my review, rewritten by them in order to meet their internal guidelines. While I understand the need for moderation, I did not feel comfortable allowing my experience to be rewritten by a platform representative. A patient review should reflect the authentic wording, perspective, and lived experience of the person who underwent the treatment—not a version rewritten by staff. Editorial guidance is reasonable, but rewriting a review on behalf of a patient risks altering the meaning and does not align with widely accepted principles of transparent, consumer-generated reviews. For this reason, I declined to have the platform publish a reframed version that was not written by me.
Notably, this same fact-based review — supported by written medical documentation — was accepted and published without issue on other major platforms, including Google, Trustpilot, and RealSelf.
These restrictions help explain why some practitioners appear to have exclusively five-star reviews on WhatClinic, while the same practitioners show a broader mix of positive and negative patient experiences on other public review platforms.
While moderation to prevent abuse is understandable, these guidelines limit patients’ ability to share clear, transparent, fact-based experiences. Prospective patients should be aware of these limitations when relying on WhatClinic reviews as part of their research.
