One of the plastic bottles had been…
One of the plastic bottles had been damaged and was leaking. The driver kept the case upside down and so kept most of the wine in the bottle, but the corner of the box was soaked and about a third of a bottle was lost.
When in Rome replaced the damaged bottle after I left the above review. The replacement bottle arrived safely the next day. Excellent customer service. Many thanks.

A really handy and quick service. Bought three boxes for a forthcoming (long) holiday. Have bought previously from WIR and enjoy a very drinkable weekday wine.

Product was fine but not sure why dpd…
Product was fine but not sure why dpd couldn’t post the letterbox wine through the customers letterbox. Was left on doorstep. Letterbox wine doesn’t really work if not posted through the letterbox

Very nice wine. I usually order it for a treat. Birthday or Anniversary because it’s quite expensive at £25.99. But it is lovely

Hi Clare, thank you for your spectacular review. Just wanted to let you know we've heard you, and we'd highly recommend trying out flat bottle or cans. Also, the boxes may be more expensive but you're getting 3 bottles worth of wine in each box - we try to always cater to our fans so be sure let us know what you think of our flat bottle.

Rome in a Box!!
This is the first time, in more years than I care to remember, that I have tried boxed wines - and what a revelation!! Both of the reds that I purchased were extremely good, both in taste and value. I have had no hesitation in recommending them to friends, and will be ordering some more for myself.
