I have bought a couple of casks from Whisky 1901, but this was my first sale. The sale process was triggered by a divorce so I needed to sell it fairly quickly and that was helped through by the team, I feel that Ryan really helped to get it through quickly for me. I hadn’t kept the cask for the recommended minimum of 3-5 years to see a strong return, but there was still over £1000 on top of my initial purchase price in 2 years.

Good guys, now have 4 casks with them, arranged site visits (Scotland) to visually check the casks (was new to this asset class, was buying mostly online / by phone, and so wanted to do my due diligence on the physical product) - pleasant and interesting experience going to whisky warehouse (cold too!).

I didn't earn anything yet, because I am new to whisky investment, so I can't judge my portfolio manager recommendation. In general my experience with Whisky1901 was very positive so far. I was naturally nervous investing in a new market, and whilst I enjoy drinking whisky I had very little knowledge in regard to what would make a good investment. The advice throughout has been excellent with the folks there clearly very knowledgeable in the market, the pricing structure gives confidence in the company’s interest in your investment and the company has been transparent throughout. That transparency for me has been so important given there are some less reputable firms out there. Very pleased so far

The person we dealt with, Gabriel, was pleasant and emphasised that any investment was at our own pace, was able to invest with another family member in the one cask, all paperwork was supplied accordingly.
