our day out at wimbledon 2024
As treat following the recovery from an accident ,my wife and i went to the second monday .
we booked the trip through the company and had a wonderful day out . Everything went well , the booking , the secure receipt of the tickets , the lunch arrnagements and last but definitely not least we had wonderful seats in centre court and saw some great tennis . Wimbledon is special and the company seems to be able to source great seats and lay on a lovely day out .

DEBENTURE TICKETS- AT YOUR OWN RISK
Beware if a match if cancelled because a player is injured -even if it is cancelled before the match starts you will not be offered any compensation or reimbursement .We had bought debenture tickets(at a very steep price) for the quaterfinals on July 10 2024 on Centre court and were looking forward to see the men's quarter finals.Unfortunately the match was cancelled at the last minute because Alexander de Minaur was injured.Even though we sought a reimbursement or some type of compensation we were told that such cancellation was at our own risk and the Debenture ticket holders and the AELTC were not responsible. Is this fair? - i do not believe so. .When you are paying a very high price to attend an event why should the ticket holders assume such risk ? I understand that an injury can occur at any time but why should the person who purchased the tickets be penalized and lose the amount paid when the principal event is cancelled ? This is specially disappointing when you planned to attend this event from abroad ,months ahead for a special anniversary!
After insisting we were only offered a small rebate on a 2025 match which is completely unfair and inconsiderate.In other words keep your fingers crossed that the match you paid will not be CANCELLED. If so it will be your loss-tough luck! very disappointing because Wimbledon is a great event.
