Wimbledon Driving School Avis 

Great experience with my instructor Eder Kruli from WDS. Made quick progress in little time (started weekly lessons <2 months before exam) and made every lesson very informative so I could improve. Very chilled out and made everything easy. Would highly recommend

I already had a licence but after a mishap I lost all my confidence and was very nervous about getting behind the wheel again. Mustafa was amazing and I’d really recommend him 10/10. I particularly like his one-liners!

I had some refresher lessons with Jawed Khan. He was incredibly calm and really helped me build my confidence back so I can feel comfortable back on the road in London after a few years of not driving.

I passed today and I couldn't be more grateful to have had Bashir as my driving instructor. I was a nervous driver when we first started taking lessons but he goes beyond just teaching you how to drive.

Bashir is very straightforward with what needs improving but also works with you, constantly making it clear and easy on what needs to be worked on and shows you how to do it rather than telling you.

He is also setting you up for driving after the test and how to be a safe road user long term, and his teaching skills are very valuable for anyone who is learning how to drive for life.

Thank you Bashir for being such a positive influence for me on how to be a safe and responsible driver, and for being such a wonderful teacher.

I was very afraid of driving and had tried different instructors in the past, but thankfully I was assigned with Shekar at Wimbledon Driving School who helped me gain confidence and with his teaching, I managed to pass first time!! I would 100% recommend Shekar to any learners.

Very grateful to Emma Cross for her guidance and help in passing the test at first attempt in Morden. Everything Emma practised with me was directly relevant to the actual test. She is very calm, patient, and has great attention to detail — exactly what you need when preparing for a test.

My instructor Gershon helped me to pass with my first attempt at Morden. He is an excellent teacher, always showing patience and encouragement. His instruction was invaluable across all aspects of my learning. He never allowed a weakness of my driving to go unaddressed, which is the end meant I arrived to my test date with full confidence in my ability thanks to him. He was always an absolute professional throughout the 7 months I spent learning to drive with him.

What made it so great was my instructor took great care and patience with his teachings. Always was flexible to fit in lessons during times that worked for both of us. We were able to build a nice working relationship where we took time to have a laugh also. I passed on my first try and it's all because of him. I had Mamoona as a driving instructor, and let me tell you I have never experienced a driving instructor with so much patience and calmness. She allowed a lot of space for questions, and was very thorough, when making our way through content and different manoeuvres. She had a presence which eased me during our lessons and helped me get ready for my test, where I passed first time with only 3 minors! Highly recommend her to anyone! :)

Shahida was an AMAZING driving instructor, she’s such a calm and lovely individual, who gives good feedback on performance, very attentive to making sure her students are growing in confidence every lesson. Thanks to her teaching, I passed my driving test today, with only two minors!! A great result.

I very highly recommend Adan as your driving instructor! He was always very patient and always made sure I really understood the concepts of practical driving. I always felt safe in the car despite being quite nervous at the beginning. Through Adan’s intuitive and attentive teaching, I was able to pass first time. I could not have done it without him!

Very unprofessional and rude driving instructor - I was on mitcham road in Croydon today and the driving instructor (a black female with a low bun hairstyle) was extremely unprofessional, rude and driving in a very concerning and dangerous manner. The instructor did a turn in the middle of a road where oncoming cars was approaching nor would have had time to stop or process the manoeuvre she decided to do in 1 way traffic. She completely made me emergency break as well as doing a go away gesture when I actually gave way to her - completely unprofessional and disgraceful I would never recommend this company to anybody hoping to learn how to drive when you have unprofessional, rude and incompetent driving instructors such as the one who I encountered today. Disgraceful

I found this school online and went by reviews, I contacted them and was assigned Hafiz as my instructor. I was basically picking up driving after 10 years and had to prepare for a test I miraculously booked in 6 weeks. In those 6 weeks, Hafiz was my instructor and was very flexible to what worked for me time wise (weekends and several weekday evenings).

I went from relearning how to drive a car to passing after proper dedicated lessons with Hafiz. He knows all the test routes in Morden (and surrounding areas) and was very diligent in making sure I covered every possible test routes.

My last 2-3 weeks of lessons consisted of exam conditions, and any time I made a major fault he’d ask me to safely pull up and explain very clearly what I got wrong. I will also commend that despite my steep learning curve he was very patient and explained everything on what to and what not to do.

My test was at 7:15am and Hafiz took me around a possible test route at 6am - which turned out to be 80% overlap of my actual route! It helped me relax and I passed. I will give all the credit to his perseverance and patience and his expertise in this area. I not only recommend this school, but specially Hafiz if you’re so lucky to get him as an instructor
