Bought a Wimus k9 for my son Christmas…

Bought a Wimus k9 for my son Christmas 24. Was blown away with the quality and ease of use. For £230 my son had a projector to watch tv and game. The only thing I haven’t managed to do is cast either from IPhone or android hence 4 instead of 5 stars .However early this week I thought it was all to good to be true as my son complained the K9 wouldn’t turn on. Imagine my dismay when I logged onto trustpilot and saw the 2.5 star rating. Unperturbed I emailed the wimus support team. 1 day later we received a response apologising for the inconvenience and we would receive a replacement within 10 days. 2 days later brand new projector arrives in the post. I was astounded at this level of customer service no quibbling or request for the old projector just new projector 4 days after the old one stopped working. Thanks wimus.

Wimius scam warranty

We bought a Wimius projector and had issues with it in the first 6 months. The website said we have a 3 year warranty, we have tried to contact Wimius multiple times through every listed means, but noone has bothered responding to us despite our projector being under warranty. Scam website. They just ignore you. The 24 hr response time is a lie. We havent heard from anyone in weeks.

Safety hazard

I purchased the Honiture X7 vacuum cleaner from Snapbuy UK a year ago, and while the vacuum itself has been great, the charger nearly caused a fire and put myself and those around me in serious danger. After using the charger, I noticed it was overheating, and I could smell burning. It was a terrifying experience that could have resulted in a major fire.

When I reached out to both Snapbuy and Honiture, I was shocked by their refusal to provide a replacement charger under warranty. To make matters worse, I was told that you can't purchase a replacement charger anywhere, as confirmed by two electricians I consulted.

It's incredibly disappointing that these companies don't take responsibility for faulty, potentially dangerous products. I'm still waiting to see if they'll honor their warranty and replace the charger, but at this point, I wouldn’t recommend anyone buy from either Snapbuy or Honiture. I can’t trust these companies with my safety, and I’d advise others to steer clear.

Poor support.

When it works it's fine, but their customer support is non existent.
They don't reply to emails so I don't expect them to honor warrant either.

The Amazon reviews are all fake.

Wimius monitor worst product i bought from Amazon


Do not buy this monitor; it’s truly the worst purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon. Nothing works properly, and it’s even worse with Wi-Fi. When I connect it via HDMI and try to watch a video, it freezes and crashes. After restarting, it works briefly before encountering the same issues again—it’s an absolute disaster. The review videos are completely misleading; this is definitely not a good device. Order #406-6175570-7850767.

I bought an quite expensive projector…

I bought an quite expensive projector from Wimius and after 4 months the image was having imprints from the projector menu overlapping the actual image plus a burnt spot on the left of the image I tried to write a review and Amazon banned me from reviewing.Apparently this is happening very often in the last period. All my reviews were genuine and objective. I tried to contact the seller, no chance. I wrote to Amazon with email proof from the seller who in the first weeks after I bought the projector, he bombarded me with emails trying to bribe me with a screen projector or Firestick for free if I'm writing a 5 star review on Amazon for him. I declined. The projector looks great and expensive, but it will last you few months. In the meantime time Wimius Amazon page is full of 5 star fake reviews because customers were bribed with free products. The warranty is 3 years. No chance to have it worked as you can't contact Wimius.

Poor products and misleading claims

Make false claims about the protectors they sell and don't respond to support emails.
They claim their projectors have popular streaming apps but they don't work. They even add 'Neflix' in the product titles on Amazon. You probably read that at Netflix too, but note the intentional misspelling.
The netflix and Disney apps won't sign in. The BBC, ITV and Channel 4 apps tell you they won't run without the Google Play framework.
You'll be left with just Amazon Prime video and YouTube as functioning apps.

Projector purchased through amazon

I purchased a projector through Amazon. I was really happy with the product until it stopped working suddenly after 4 months. I contacted wimius through the website and was sent a replacement projector within a week. Very happy with the service, just hope this new projector lasts longer.

Compre un proyector P62 por Amazon y…

Compre un proyector P62 por Amazon y la verdad que todo bien, el proyector cumple, pero parece que me tocó uno usado y reacondicionado (tenía huellas por los botones y polvo en la lente y puntos negros en la pantalla) aunque pague por uno "nuevo"... El proyector funciona bien, pero la imagen nativa parece estar como girada unos pocos grados hacia la derecha, lo que hace que la corrección trapezoidal automatica no funcione bien. Nunca deja la pantalla totalmente cuadrada, siempre distorsionada y tienes que calibrarlo tu manualmente todo el rato, el auto enfoque súper bien. Otra cosa son los puntos negros, hay bastantes pero los puedes quitar sin problemas y sin que se anule la garantía. Por lo demás no tengo nada que decir, buena calidad de construcción y buenos complementos (mochila, kit de limpieza, etc).

En cuanto la atención al cliente, es la mejor que he recibido en años, muy buenas respuestas, se nota que se preocupan por ayudarte y que cuidan su imagen.

Quiero dar las gracias a Cicilin, que fue la persona que me atendió en todo momento.

Customer service, at the moment, is non-existent. I have written to the email about 3 times and have not received a response. We will return the product if it continues like this.

Dishonest review practice

Pleased with security camera purchased from company. However, a micro card is required to record photos / video made by camera. The company offers a free card and also a free power cable - but only after you have written a 5 star review!!
This is definitely not in the spirit of honest reviews, it is review blackmail, immoral and possibly illegal. Is there a way this can be stopped other than through honest, illuminating reviews like this?
