One star doesn’t even cover my disappointment! I placed an order March 24 to be delivered for a special birthday April 14th! I got a confirmation! I thought everything was OK I didn’t hear from the recipient I contacted Wisconsin Cheeseman with my order number! Customer service got back to me hours later telling me my order was canceled and I should contact my financial institution!
When I look back at the confirmation at the very bottom in tiny tiny letters was where it said the order was canceled!
Oh my God, they asked for your email address and your phone number. No one ever called me and no one ever emailed me that this order was canceled. My credit is absolutely outstanding so I have no idea what happened!
Please, please check your orders because now I will never order from them ever ever again and spread the news everywhere I can! This is really really upsetting!

This cheese was flipping fabulous

This cheese was flipping fabulous. The atmosphere in this place was absoloutely electric. The cheddar was matured to perfection. Travelled to wisconsin for the sole purpose if trying this cheese. Just overall had the time of my life.

A gift was purchased from this site for my 9 YEAR OLD for Easter by a family friend. That would be great except that the company opened a credit account in her name, despite the person who ordered as a gift calling them 6+ times already and being reassured that it had been corrected. I am pretty sure this is illegal activity on the company's behalf, especially considering the fact that the only info given was name and mailing address. No DOB, SS, or other information that is required for credit applications.

Terrible customer service!!

Terrible customer service. There's a character limit on the address line, so you cannot enter your full address and then, when I emailed the customer service email that THEY provided, they simply told me to contact their "fantastic customer service team!"??? They ARE the customer service team. I do not trust their ability to be accountable and to get my items to me safely and on time.

I ordered farmers cheese as a surprise for my wife. I was told it is shipping Fedex and I'll have it in two to four days. We waited for the delivery Tuesday and it did not arrive. I'm now told 10 to 13 days. The order is currently all the way from Wisconsin to Illinois. Fedex is using pack mules now? This is cheese. It better be refrigerated for all this time or instead of Farmers, it will be Blue cheese.

Great Cheese. Awful Customer Service

I ordered a selection of eight chesse spreads. There was a promo code for $10 off if your order was over $50. I entered the code which was accepted at online checkout. The next day when I got my order confirmation the $10 was not credited. I immediately telephoned but was told the order was in shipping and nothing could be done and I would need to contact Customer Service by email which I have done several times, I get slow responses and finally a response that they would try and get me a refund. It is now 2026 and that has not happened. I am not holding my breath!!

Order was never delivered

I ordered two products from this company to be delivered as gifts for Christmas and a 70th birthday. I received an email confirmation after my order was placed. Weeks later I found out that neither one of my gifts were delivered. I contacted the company and they said that my order was canceled. They said my credit card failed which I do believe because I accidentally used the expired credit card. However, I was never notified that my order was canceled. When I inquired further about not being notified, they said they sent me an email and a letter in the mail. I did not receive anything in the mail and I scoured my email and the junk mail for an email from them and I did not receive one either. I’m very disappointed because these were two very important gifts for me and two people went gift list for the holidays and a very important birthday. The company has not offered to make it right. Very disappointed in this company and will never attempt to order from here again.

Cancellation without notification

I ordered a gift for a client and was happy to see it would be in on December 24. Nothing showed up. I waited a couple days. I did not receive any notifications of a cancellation. I called today to check the order status and Customer Service informed me it was out of stock. I will not use them again.

Took my Mother's Money

This company took an order from my Mother on 12.21.25 after my Mother repeatedly asked if it would deliver by Christmas as it was a gift for my Husband and I. The person who took the order and my Mother's payment over the phone not only lied to her four times about when it would arrive but took extra money from my Mother for what was supposed to be expedited shipping. My Mother and myself received emails from this company stating it would deliver on 12.24.25 by end of day. Never came , no updates , tracking number showed it sitting in Newberlin Wisconsin FEDEX facility on 12.22.25 since 6pm . I called FEDEX and after having to lie twice about wanting to schedule a freight shipment I finally got a live person who was from a foreign country with screaming kids in the back ground telling me that I can't ask questions about my delivery only the shipper can . I call Cheeseman twice , got 2 people from A foreign country and the second person put me on hold to speak to a SUPERVISOR - the SUPERVISOR was an English speaking person who told me that they cannot move the delivery along since its in FEDEX S hands and to have my Mother call FEDEX. FEDEX hung up on my Mother after yelling at her and telling her that Cheeseman lied ' as CHEESEMAN had stopped the delivery and that was why it was still sitting in a FEDEX facility in WISCONSIN SINCE 12.22.25 AT 6PM. TODAY IS 12.29.25 and IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED BUT THEY TOOK MY MOTHERS MONEY ON 12.21.25 WHEN SHE PLACED THE ORDER. AFTER READING ITHER REVIEWS - I HATE TO SEE WHAT THEY CHARGED MY MOTHER $90 PLUS DOLLARS FOR ' IF IT EVER DELIVERS THAT IS.

This company canceled my order due to a system glitch. Did not notify me until I investigated and contacted them. Talked to their customer service and found they are inept idiots. Do not do business with this company or do so at your own risk

Do not recommend ordering from here!

I ordered on December 16. They said it would be delivered on December 24th. It didnt come so I checked and it said none of it was even shipped. I just called them today and they said we were supposed to have paid for it. But when I placed the order they had told me I had a $400 credit. So 3 people ended up without gifts! Will never order from here again. Do not recommend!!

Placed 4 order to family in different…

Placed 4 order to family in different parts of the country on December 16. Got order confirmation, etc.

On December 24th checked the site and all orders not sent. Cryptic notice of "processing". Nothing sent.

I called this morning to speak to customer service and got this message: "we are closed today please call back on a day we are open." This is Wed, Dec 24.

Don't use this place. The only emails I received were confirming the order and all was okay. Horrible business.

Don't even buy from this company

I ordered a bit over $200 by mail order from their catalogue on December 2. The catalog cover read "order by December 16 for arrival by Christmas". It also read, "no payment until Feb. 26". This was my FIRST & LAST order from this place! I've always ordered from the Swiss Colony for decades! Anyhow, looking through the catalogue and picking out things is my kids thing, a tradition. Around 2 weeks ago I received a letter, even though they have my email, to send in a portion of the payment due in February because my order was too large! Ok, so I sent in payment for the whole order as I'd been planning on paying in full as soon as I knew the total including taxes, etc. Here I am, Christmas Eve, and no packages from the Wisconsin Cheeseman. I called the 800 number yesterday and was told by a woman who I could barely understand, and had to ask her to repeat things several times, that most of my order is sold out due to my payment arriving so late, and it will take weeks for a refund. Funny, none of this has ever happened in the past decades that I've used the Swiss Colony. Why did I even try another company? Now, my kids will be disappointed, and I'm gonna have to go to the Swiss Colony and order things that will be here too late for Christmas 🎄.

Order never processed

Ordered products on Dec. 3 for delivery on Dec. 23 checked on order today Dec. 22 and found out that order was canceled. Phoned them and they said that order was never charged to my card for unknown reason.
Don't waste your time with this company.

Terrible. Ordered In September for December 12 delivery. Never arrived for our family Christmas on the 20th. Christmas was ruined. Scam of a company. Customer service terrible when trying to track it. Said that they couldn’t talk to fedex, we had to call them ourselves.

Stay Far Away

I DID NOT receive the product by the time promised for our Christmas party I can only review the company.
Calling the company I ended up with an agent that barely speaks english and knows even less. The only thing he could do was blame fedex and give me a big frak you it's not our fault even though the information he gave me on the tracking didn't match the online tracking I'm looking at.
Putting you trust in this company is a huge mistake. Go to the other company that sells these items and purchase from them. I wish I would have.

Scam of a company

Scam of a company! They cancel orders without explanation and they don’t deliver on time! Call center from some other country and lied about my refund and order that I cancelled after I had to call to get the order to go through ! This company is a SCAM and fearful of product I gifted my boss! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! Now disputing charge with my bank!

never ordered from here before and never will again.
Placed two orders both cancelled with no reasoning as to why.... checked my tracking which is how i found out... lividly pissed. Glad I'm ahead on my x-mas to dos otherwise this would be a worse experience - BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!
