I was genuinely interested in Wølpakka…
I was genuinely interested in Wølpakka and liked the idea of supporting a smaller European brand, which is why this experience has been particularly disappointing.
I took part in their “Lifetime Raffle” and received an email on 29 August announcing three winners: Axel from Sweden, Patricia from Germany and Jannick from Denmark.
Two days later, another email arrived with the same “Lifetime Raffle Results” subject — except this time the winning countries were Croatia, France and Norway, and the winners’ names were literally left as “[Name]”.
I still have both emails and screenshots.
When a company runs a prize draw, the results should be clear, consistent and trustworthy. Receiving two contradictory announcements makes it very difficult to understand which information is genuine and how carefully the promotion was actually handled.
I contacted Wølpakka directly because I wanted to give them the opportunity to explain what happened. I would genuinely prefer to come away from this feeling that the company takes its customers seriously and knows how to put things right when something goes wrong.
At the moment, however, this experience has left a very poor impression and has significantly reduced my confidence in their promotions.
I hope Wølpakka provides a clear explanation and makes a genuine effort to address the situation. If they do, I would be happy to update my review accordingly.
