The Caribe is my fave variety
The Caribe is my fave variety, but have also ordered Yukon Gold and Dark Red Norland. Fabulous potatoes! We buy at least 100 pounds every year.

Thanks very much for your business, Sue, and we agreed Caribe' is a great potato. We are friends with potato breeder Dr. Hielke De Jong who bred Caribe' (originally known as F69026) while working for AgCanada in nearby Fredericton, New Brunswick. Years ago when we first met Hielke at an organic farming conference in Atlantic Canada, he was sincerely elated when we told him that Caribe' was one of our best-selling potatoes. He is a wonderful man and is now retired. His son, Walter, also our friend, is now a potato breeder at Cornell. Caribe' is the only variety we have ever recommended with this enthusiasm: "Should be planted in every garden." Jim

There is nothing like these quality potatoes this is my second year of potato of the month club all my friends look forward to my shipment as well. I only wish the club was for twelve months as we really miss them when they after eight months.

King Harry potatoes.
I received the potatoes in good condition and the harvest so far has been good. I planted them in 55 gallon containers that I cut in half. I have harvested 2 of the 5 containers and have been pleased with the results. I was hoping to get about 40 lbs from my small planting. If my next harvests are as good as the first 2, I'll get 50 lbs. I will be buying these again from Wood Prairie Family Farms.

Happy to hear the King Harry did so well for you, Tom. They were bred at Cornell and the "hairy leaves" make them naturally resistant to Colorado Potato Beetles, Potato Leaf Hoppers and Flea Beetles. It's an outstanding variety. Caleb

I ordered three types of potatoes. Prairie Blush, red gold and Carola. I have grown all before, from other reputable sources and these were of the highest quality and were shipped when promised in excellent condition.
