Wool Couture Avis 

The “crochet for beginners” kit that I bought was far from beginner friendly — I assumed I’d be getting an entire kit ready to make a scarf (as advertised) but no, it was just four balls of wool, and a plastic needle — not even a crochet hook to get me started! On top of that, the instructions that were included weren’t beginner friendly at all, but promised a YouTube video for me to follow along with. There is no video for how to make a scarf and when I brought this up in a YouTube comment, it was just deleted without a reply.
If you want to spend £25 on four balls of wool and a sheet of paper with unclear instructions, then I recommend this company. If you want something a little more beginner friendly, steer clear!!

At present I haven't received my order. Royal mail have been supposed to be delivering for 3 days but haven't as yet. I sent an email to chase with this Wool Couture and have received very abrupt and defensive emails replies telling me to chase and deal with it. I've spent £100 (to my now regret) and I just wanted a little courtesy, an apology and their attempts to chase the delivery. I won't be ordering again from then. It shows that no matter how nice the products look, if the service lets the company down, you don't want to deal with them again.

When my 3year old grandson lost his beloved ‘Little Lambkin’ (Lionel Lamb to the rest of the world) I was as devastated as he was! Fortunately I was able to find out where the original lamb had come from, (Wool Couture, obviously) and was able to order a kit so that a clone could be made. The lovely people at Wool Couture (shout out to Ali!) could not have been more helpful, and went out of their way to arrange for the kit to be sent directly to my knitting friend so that lamb and boy could be reunited asap. The cuddly lamb was such a lovely gift in the first place, and I am so relieved that my grandson will have his beloved (or at least something very similar!) back very soon. I could not recommend this company more highly, not only for their beautiful product, but also for their fantastic customer service.

I wanted to change one of the colours in the romper kit and absolutely no problem. I have used wool couture a few times and they always come up with the goods as promised. There is nothing like ordering a new kit and the excitement of waiting for it to arrive and unwrapping the goods pure bliss. Well done team wool couture.

Was having a problem with part of a pattern, that I just couldn't work out. Quick email sent and a couple of videos on how to do it sent next working day. Sent email over the weekend not expecting any reply until the Monday but had messages over the weekend assuring me somebody would contact me on the Monday. I didn't get the email with the videos at first but this was sorted out immediately when I contacted them again. Brilliant service and the videos were great.

Wrong item was sent but a quick email to Wool Couture and the issue was resolved. They allowed me to keep the incorrect item and sent the original item ordered. Excellent customer service!

Such beautiful products and designs, and customer service is second to none. I won’t hesitate to buy from wool couture in the future.

I couldn’t recommend this company enough. They’re brilliant. Lovely quality wool and knitting needles with generally very easy to understand instructions. I’m relatively new to knitting so had a couple of queries as to the instructions for a basket weave blanket as I wasn’t 100% sure I had understood correctly. Claire replied really quickly and was exceedingly helpful, setting out step by step the process for me so there was no confusion. Wonderful choice of colours, patterns, etc. and I’ll definitely be purchasing from this company again.

Honestly couldn’t have had a better experience. I placed an order forgetting jt was a bank holiday and wanted the order before I go on holiday.
I emailed the company, not expecting anything. But they confirmed my order and confirmed the shipping. My order arrived promptly and well within the delivery times specified.

Excellent customer service; rapid and helpful response to a query. The product is unbelievably soft, and the colours are true to the website images.

Please be aware that the yarn is only single spun. I had a problem with Olive Super Chunky yarn that kept splitting but think it was a bad batch. I complained and was sent a complementary replacement ball with no further issues.

I bought a loom and it has broken in TWO different places. They have sent me replacement pieces (though at extra cost to myself).
However, they've been helpful in terms of knitting pattern advice.

I've bought a few items from Wool Couture but most recently had an issue with a pattern that wasn't making sense. I emailed the company late in the evening expecting/hoping for a reply the following day so I was genuinely surprised when I had a response ten minutes later from Ali. We exchanged emails however it was apparent that there was an issue that needed design assistance so I was passed on to Emma on the Design Team the following day who was able to resolve the technical issue. The patterns are delightful, the wool quality is good and I was really impressed with the service and help I received. I'll definitely be getting more kits from Wool Couture and happy to recommend them.

Everything arrived as expected. High quality wool yarn. Beautiful knitting kit, able to choose my own colours from a wide range.

Amazing customer service. Needed this kit for my daughter who is going through a tough time in her life. Needed it delivered quicker than the delivery options given. Emailed them and they were not only kind and caring, but dispatched the crochet kit the same afternoon. Would definitely recommend them.
