Great, so far!

Great, so far. Very competive quote and easy to take out. Great customer service too. I hope the have the same standards if (God forbid) I ever have to make a claim.

SHOCKING!!!

SHOCKING!!!
I was told by one of the woop insurance advisors that once I was insured with them I would be also covered to drive other vehicles (But only third party) like most other insurance companys. Only to get pulled over in another vehicle!! Now because of that I'm getting my license REVOCED!!!! Thanks woop. I will be taking this further!!!! Be careful guys woop are very misleading and dont give you all the details. :(

Renewed immediately

Already done one year with Woop and had to renew, price was unbeatable. Never had a problem with them, when I ring them the workers are nice and polite. Class from WOOP.

They have a bad website always having…

They have a bad website always having erros, then when you call them they take ages to answers and then the details gets all messed up on the system.

this is just a reply to their generic response
your quotation came in at nearly three times renewal price , so we will not be using your site for a quote in the future,
you state that there are factors , such as young driver etc... , but these are factors for any company quoting , and in act the company that quoted the best rate still have to take these actors in to account
so you should not be advertising your services as young driver specialists if in act you can not compete
warning to anyone looking for young driver insurance or competitive quotes .... don't bother with wood

Edited part of review now following matts reply ... you advertise on google 'fair insurance for 17 to 24 year olds'
this is clearly not the case when your quote is three times the price. no need for another lame reply .... this is just to warn other young drivers not to be sucked in to your misleading wording as you are clearly NOT competitive

As we advised in the previous response, there are number of different factors which may potentially impact any quote.

Different insurers will inevitably provide you with different quotes, as the way in which they build their quotes and policies differ. We aim to be as competitive in as many quotes as we can, but will not always be able to provide the most competitive quote on the market.

Cannot get to a human voice after…

Cannot get to a human voice after nearly two weeks of trying. Non-existant customer service - very quick to take over inflated premiums but no response when making a claim. I want to complain formally on their website but nowehere to do it. A letter to Insurance Ombudsmen is next.

By far the most shocking company I have…

By far the most shocking company I have ever dealt with...I never write reviews so it's bad for me to do so...I paid for my car to be insured yesterday they took the money out my account but I am still waiting for them to insure my vehicle when I needed the insurance to start from yesterday.
I have now been on the phone trying to get through for over an hour with no response.

Shocking Service!!

Me and my partner have been trying to contact woop car insurance for the past 3 hours and still no answer. We have not been able to get in contact with any of the woop insurance team. It is important as my partner would like to report someone bumping into his car. As changing bank account that is set on the account. This is highly disappointing and frustrating.

Woop Insurance

My third review on here about Woop Insurance and recently it’s gotten slightly better. They are finally paying myself for damages against my vehicle however are still extremely hard to get a hold of, Id like to discuss the terms on how the payment is made, either by cheque or by transfer as it wasn’t explained.
As i’m on a tight time bases they put me on its quite imperative they honor their agreement on timing.
I would be furthermore satisfied if they rang me asap to discuss this matter, and i would remove all previous reviews.

The best for young drivers! :)

Very good customer service, quick and hassle free. No long waits on the line like most businesses have, I literally rang and they answered almost instantly and the whole process of me insuring my car was only a 15 minute phone call and I was insured. Also been 19 I struggled to get low cost car insurance on comparison websites, yet woop insurance gave me a quote that was £35 cheaper per month then the cheapest on compare the market. Very happy and highly recommend this company :) will be using these for many years to come.

Absolute rubbish!!!!!

My son was involved in an accident where someone run into the back of him and they said he hit them, so woop (Gallagher Basset) said they are going for 50/50 so I thought fair enough!
I didn’t hear anything then next thing I know when insurance was coming to an end 8 months later they tell me I’ve made a claim???
Whaaat ? This was the first I heard about it and they didn’t notify me at all to tell me about the actions they are taking.
They may be cheaper, but I wouldn’t bother absolute rubbish!
Pay the the extra money go somewhere else!

We're sorry to hear that you're unhappy with claims process you've experienced.

Unfortunately, from your review, there isn't enough information for us to investigate this further. From your review, it would seem that a 50/50 liability decision was agreed between you and Gallagher Basset, and that they would've have consequently proceeded on this basis. A 50/50 split liability claim would impact the policies of all the parties involved in that scenario, so this may be why your son's policy would have a claim against it.

I cancelled with MyPolicy and joined Woop and it hands down was the best change I could personally ever make. I was grateful for the recommendation given to me by my mate. Definitely recommending woop to every new driver I know, already done one so far.
