Staff were really lovely, very knowledgeable and I discovered a few things I needed to make my reptiles a littler happier! Very well stocked, a weekly visit will be on the cards from now 😊

Iv just purchased a tortoise from here at cleethorpes and grimsby road store the staff explained everything we need to know and helped us with the purchase they are really helpful and if need them we just have to ring or pop in and I will recommend this store to anyone who is looking to purchase exotic pets. We purchased another tortoise from pasture pets and ponds but it was sold to us at 6 months old and it died after us having it for 9 months so we went to exotics of the world to get another 1 and the experience we had with them was really gd

Friendly and expert advice

First time using WOE and and will recommend to anyone, I had a huge issue receiving my goods but all down to the postal system which was diabolic.8 days to receive them.
WOE went above and beyond to help sort the problem only to be fobbed off with lame excuses, I cannot praise them enough, phone calls every day to keep me informed , excellent customer service, even sent me 2 lamps that I was urgently waiting for to ensure my animal welfare was not compromised.

Although they had the best price on items, unfortunately the item I ordered was out of stock, which I didn't discover till I called the company a week later when I still had not received the item that I payed to be there within 3-5 business days, the item finally showed up almost 2 weeks after ordering

I have recently bought a crested gecko set up from here for my young son. The service was great good price.

I would not recommend this store to anyone after witnessing the awful and dismissive treatment of two customers whose pets had died in their care. I was shocked at the attitude of the store owner who showed no compassion or empathy towards them or their lost pets. Very disappointing.

Please be aware - I am writing this review following the awfully sad post about 2 poor crocodile skinks dying whilst under the care of World of Exotics. I am astounded that a couple have put their trust in a shop for them to be cold heartedly told their beloved pets had died, with no offer of explanation. When calmly asked for CCTV footage to see if the skinks where placed in their vivarium in a timely manner, the owner point blank refused! No answers given to this poor couple, no offer of compensation and not even as little as a “we are sorry”.
It seems very suspicious to me that since this video has been uploaded there have been many reviews praising the holiday service. A holiday service in a shop that killed 2 crocodile skinks and couldn’t have cared less. I’d be very wary about spending my money here, after all the lack of respect and compassion they have for their animals is questionable to say the least.

Amazing place. Not only does it cater for my feeding needs of my animals and supplies, the service I have recieved has been perfect. Items I have needed are there and when required something it's arrived the next day.
I have been nervous over my baby gecko and unsure at times all the staff have been so helpful guided me to where I need and eased my concerns.
There knowledge and education around the different animals is amazing they show genuine care for them.
My kids love going in to see the animals, how they are cared for and have their 1000s of questions answered.

We do not go anywhere else for any of our reptiles

The standard in this shop is next to none, the staff Dan and Jan have years of experience and the knowledge from Dan is fantastic. All Reptiles are well cared for. I wouldnt go anywhere else for reptile advice or products to help care for my reptiles

Absolutely brilliant exotic shop. Dan and his staff are very knowledgeable and give fantastic advice. Animals kept and sold here are in great health and well cared for.
The holiday boarding on offer is spot on, I've had many of my exotic pets here while I am away, including my disabled Chinese water dragon who requires daily medication which I can trust this shop to do for me.
I highly recommend visiting this lovely shop!
