First of all, absolute great service. Unfortunately the software did not meet my exact meets, but that's on my part. The software is fast, great coded and there is tons of documentation. Would definitely recommend. Got my refund with no hassle within 2 days.

Great Wordpress plugin and to top it off the best support I have ever had from any software supplier.

Don't expect the GeoDirectory plugin to be perfect at first, it needs a bit of work to mould it to how you would like it to run and appear but well worth the time and effort.

A particular thanks to Alex and Guust at their support desk, always respond very quickly with solutions to my problems, mainly due to my lack of knowledge. 10/10 guys!

Unfortunately, this system did not work for me. Poor customer support to help with functionality. Since I bought their software, I have been dealing with a very complicated system that did not work. Despite their little efforts to help and try to respond to my concerns, I had no choice but to shut down the website. I discourage small business owners and to stay away from them. The worst, my site was hacked more than four times because GeoDirectory uses WordPress to manage their faulty plugins. Using them was a big mistake as I wasted time and money to try it. And again WordPress made it worse and full of hackers.

I started building our business with GeoDirectory a year and a half ago. I had tested many different programs and tools, and in the end I chose GeoDirectory because it offered a clean, professional layout and — in the beginning — very fast and effective support.

Over time, however, things changed — both in the level of support and in the quality of the assistance I received. The site stopped running smoothly, my customers were unable to place adverts, invoices were no longer being generated automatically, the Affiliate System didn‘t work, My support phone was ringing non-stop and clients started to cancel their subscriptions.

In desperation, I contacted GeoDirectory and asked them to fix the issues so I wouldn’t lose more customers. Instead, I received a surprisingly brusque response from the CEO, telling me not to “drive support crazy”.

The truth is: this system — especially the GetPaid integration — is simply not stable enough to run a real, live business. Maybe for a hobby project, but not for an actual company. The site advertises that you can build an “incredible affiliate system”, so you invest over €400 in AffiliateWP, only to discover that this claim is completely misleading. You cannot reliably track sales unless they come through the exact referral link — which makes the entire feature practically useless.

Even worse: sooner or later, support will just leave you hanging. And they won’t care if you lose €40,000 in revenue because the system fails.

If you want to run a hobby site — go for it.
If you plan to build a real business with these tools — don’t touch it.

I've done some serious research about directory builders (like, hours and hours of watching reviews, case-studies, etc) and GeoDirectory stands out as the best of the best. Also, the customer service is outstanding - I had a desperate request for help and they came back to me with a quick and easy answer that actually cost them money but helped me enormously. Faultless experience so far!

I chose Geodirectory for a client after a bad experience with eDirectory and extensive research of features.

The good thing with Geodirectory is that you can test it's free version easily (and even the free version already does most of what people need).

But the PRO version is full of features for a fraction of the price of something like eDirectory.

It's flexible, has good addons and it's running on WordPress, so you can modify many things yourself (or your developer can easily).

Great tool, excellent support. What else do you need? I can’t imagine a directory you can’t built with geodirectory….

GeoDirectory is a fully featured, incredibly expandable software suite that will enable you to build amazing directory-based businesses. I have followed and used the software almost from its inception and the growth in both its capabilities and expandability has grown exponentially. The software allows you to build a simple, city-based directory site or an expansive global one. You can incorporate user reviews, ecommerce capability and advanced search functionality, all compatible with the latest themes and site builders. It is truly the Swiss Army knife of directory software and I have trusted my business to it. The developers are responsive when you are in a jam, the documentation is extensive, and they are continuously adding to and improving the software. I have reviewed many options in the directory software space and in my opinion, this is by far the best directory software available today.

I have been building regional directories and domain specific directories using WordPress for 5 years now. GeoDirectory is the only tool that I have not changed since the beginning.

I tried some all-in-one themes but they did not work at all. The suite of plugins from GD has been very robust and the support from the Team has been great. They also transitioned very smoothly into the Gutenberg blocks era and adapted their product with version 2.0.

I recommend GD to anyone who is serious about building directories. It has paid itself many times over.

Moving from a platform where there was hardly any design options to GeoDirectory where you can totally build your own designs and layouts for results listings, listing cards and the listing pages.
I’m sure I’ve only scratched the surface but this allowed us to move our classifieds/directory from being a lower/mid benefit of our overall platform to being a major/top benefit and to build new types of listings and categories for other types of our members.

I've only been using GD for a short while, but my experience has been outstanding.

The plugin is brilliant it does more than I needed or thought I needed, the functionality is brilliant, not only that it's given me more ideas for my website.

I've had to contact support a couple of times to help with set up, but for three most part it's fairly intuitive. The response has been timely.

Highly recommended.
