Very helpful guidance - the engineer recommended getting in touch with Worcester Bosch to see if the boiler was still under warranty...which it was.
The installers were great; quiet, efficient, polite with good senses of humour. They explained things clearly without being patronising and tidied up very efficiently. I thought they were excellent.

The fast track team were really helpful & quick to keep the progress moving, Laurence in particular was helpful with making the process as quick as possible & Indy at WJP was great with explaining the process. The men on the day who installed were friendly & the whole process was very smooth.

superficiality and approximation
In The first appointment they came, the engineer said there is no issue on the underfloor heating and heating pump as well.
He said to leave open the heating all night but the day after, the floor was still cold.
I recalled them saying the service I had was poor and unprofessional and the same engineer came back.
This time with all required tools and He identifia broken valve who said he notice broken at the first call. So why they didn’t fix it instead of saying it’s ok?
So, what I expect from professional service providers to be professional and correct.
They don’t in my experience.

Hello Mr Principato, sorry for this and perhaps a misunderstanding over the parts needed and us just getting a quick fix done for you initially. So yes we came to your flat as soon as you called and restored heating on that first visit by topping up system pressure and removing air from the system. We then returned 2 days later with the correct new actuator head for your HIU. These actuators and your type of system are not overly common and so not held by everyone as van stock. Therefore we ordered one, collected it and came to fit it. We actually felt we did a great job and could't really have resolved your issue much quicker, but perhaps as you say something wasn't right still after the first visi, but is now resolved. Hope this gives you a bit more clarity of the situation and feel free to pop by our office again anytime if you still have questions or more things you'd like looked at. We'll always try our hardest. Gas leak in piping below floor boards, faulty boiler.
The engineer was very thorough with the search for the gas leak but didn't precisely locate it. Quoting £770 + VAT per diem to come in again and possibly take two days, I elected for a plumber used by a contractor friend who came in with a no none sense fixed price, tracked the leak down, soldered it, re- directed the piping more practically, serviced the boiler and replaced the control panel with reconditioned parts, all for less than quoted and in four or five hours. Eastern European, practical, hard working, fixed pricing, fully gas safety certified. 10/10 for them.

We do have an expensive day-rate I'm afraid and always like to prepare the customer for the worst case scenario just in case. We do hope we would have also been able to locate it quickly had we continued and then draw up a bill for a lot less than quoted once the engineer hours had been clocked.
