Extremely poor experience. I purchased a vehicle in January 2025. An independent garage/bodyshop later found undeclared major front-end damage and evidence of poor repair, including a missing structural panel. 3 of the 4 tyres failed the MOT, with damage predating the purchase. Rectifying this has cost close to £10,000. The dealer ignored multiple emails requesting a resolution.
In my opinion the vehicle should not have been sold in that condition. I cannot recommend this business.

I recently purchased a Porsche 981 Boxter S from the Team at 12 London Road. Mark and David did a super job of answering all our question as we went through the process.
They arranged a pre purchase inspection with Copse Automotive which gave us piece of mind.
Both Mark and David were professional, responsive and not at all pushy.
The car is a pleasure to drive and we thank the team for making the experience trouble free.

Usman/David were good at sourcing the right car for me. They were receptive to my needs and changes required on the car.
A parts supply issue ( not their fault) delayed me collecting the car for a week but they kept me informed and were keen to make up for that, which they did.
If I need another car I'll certainly be asking them again.

They also set up a test-drive on the spot in a make of car that they suggested but which I had not myself considered previously, based on my general requirements. This was very helpful.

Having "sold" my vehicle to 12 London Road via the Motorway app, the dealer came to collect the car.

Having spent 2 hours looking at the car, read of the car's ECU and an extended test drive, 3 scratches to the piano black console were identified with and estimated cost of some £1,600. I would stress, the scratches involved are around the width of a human hair and barely visible to the naked eye. These are entitely comensurate with the cars age. It's worth noting the car was prepared to Maserati's standards just 15 months ago!

In my view this is typical used car dealer behavior, place a high bid to "win" a good car and attempt to haggle down the price on a tenuous basis.

I note from the photo's from the dealers website, having been fully prepped to their "exacting" standards demonstrate the same age related wear, e.g. Mercedes A-Class KU20 NKX. Or perhaps, Range Rover SC67 NHK which appears to have a crease in the leather on the streering wheel boss.

Poor conduct from what I believed would be an honourable dealer.

sold my Maserati Quattroporte diesel saloon through Motorway and 12 London Road were the buyer. My anxieties proved unfounded. I received an offer that matched my expectations. I was contacted by David from this dealership within 24 hours of my confirmation of acceptance. They arranged collection from my home a day later. The whole process was very smooth and without problems. The collection company arrived on time with excellent communication. They inspected the car thoroughly, took lots of photos, as expected, a short test drive with me in the passenger seat, a phone call to the dealer and the payment was made within minutes, my banking app confirming the payment being made into my account a few minutes later. Second hand car dealers sometimes get a bad reputation but my experience of this company was very positive - nothing adverse to report, a very satisfactory outcome. David from 12 London Road was polite helpful and did everything he said he would, promptly. The company is London Road Retail Limited trading as 12 London Road.

Just a warning for anyone thinking of buying from 12 London Road. Before buying my car, I pointed out some minor cosmetic damage that they agreed to fix, which was done by their mobile repairer. The repair was done, but after getting home I realised that the paint doesn’t match, I notified them the very next day and the dealership admitted it needs redoing.

That was MONTHS ago — since then they’ve completely stopped responding to my emails and calls. No updates, no follow-up, nothing.

It’s so frustrating because they were happy to take my money, but when it came to putting something right, they’ve just vanished. I’d strongly recommend being cautious and checking how they handle problems after the sale — because in my experience, that’s where things fell apart.
