2iC Global / Digi Skills Agency — Disorganized, Misleading, and Unreliable
I applied for the Executive Assistant to the CEO role (Remote) on September 29, 2025.
On October 2, the recruiter Leanne Jones Hunt invited me to schedule an interview via Calendly. The only available times were between 2:00–4:00 AM PST (5:00–7:00 AM EST) — completely unreasonable for most U.S.-based candidates. I booked October 8 at 11:45 AM PST instead and also requested an earlier time, which was never acknowledged or responded to.
The interview was confirmed on our calendars for seven days. Then, just one hour before the meeting, the recruiter changed the time to 11:00 AM PST — 45 minutes earlier — without any notice or confirmation. I was already in another interview at that time. There was no communication acknowledging the change, no apology, and no explanation for the sudden reschedule, despite the meeting having been confirmed for a week.
When I followed up for clarification, she replied that she was “unavailable,” but never addressed or apologized for the last-minute change. She then rescheduled me for October 9 at 10:30 AM without confirming my availability. I immediately replied, explaining my conflict and offering several alternative times that same day and the next — but my message was ignored.
Since I never received a response, I took the initiative to book her next available time for October 14 at 10:30 AM PST. That meeting remained confirmed for another six days until she cancelled just hours before, stating that the client only wanted EST-based candidates — a requirement that was never mentioned anywhere in the posting or earlier communication.
After two day-of cancellations, ignored messages, and repeated unconfirmed time changes, it was clear this process lacked professionalism, communication, and basic respect for candidates’ time.
Adding to the concern, there appears to be a clear disconnect between the company listed on Indeed (Digi Skills Agency) and the recruiter’s LinkedIn profile, which identifies her as the co-owner and founder of 2iC Global, seemingly located in Spain. That inconsistency — combined with the lack of transparency and erratic communication — raises legitimate questions about the company’s credibility.
Companies and candidates alike should proceed with caution, as the experience and inconsistencies could easily lead one to question whether this is a legitimate recruiting agency or a potential scam operation.
Advice to company:
If location or time zone restrictions exist, disclose them upfront. Confirm any time changes before altering interviews, communicate clearly, and operate with the level of professionalism expected from an executive search firm.
