Extremely bad customer service. Blocked my account for no reason and emailed multiple times looking for an explanation but no response in a month.

Great site for years suddenly overnight I am blocked for no reason given can't talk to them no contact e mailed many times

Was Sold an item that doesn't work. Refused to give me refund. Their team barely replied to my emails . V bad customer service

Please save your money paying for ads. In the Tech section, as others have stated professional Poilsh tech accounts are running rampant with tonnes of old scrap they have been running for years on end. The site is destroyed by them. I am sure it's mostly the same two guys. audiorepairs and Zulus with a myriad of accounts.

I’ve been using Adverts for over a decade and it’s always been a great platform. I’ve bought and sold a few things, but the best part is the free items – I’ve picked up loads of really good things over the years and have given away plenty that were no use to me but useful to others.

There’s a huge variety of items and the interface is very user-friendly (both app and web). There are handy features like alerts, watch lists, saved searches, and the option to search nearby. The feedback system also helps you decide who to deal with.

Customer support was excellent the one time I needed it – my account was blocked because I added a URL, but Eddie from support reactivated it within hours.

The bad reviews due to scams are unfair - scammers are everywhere, and Adverts shouldn't be responsible for users sending money to strangers online.

I’d definitely recommend it to anyone.

It's gone impossible to sell genuine games as the site is filled with counterfeit copies and bootleg compilation cartridges. Absolutely nothing is done when an ad is reported.

Despite repeated warnings of a ROMA scammer operating in Cork under various accounts after he got initially banned, Adverts staff protects him and will ban your account instead for noticing him in operation. Stay well clear of this site.

User Block no Reason and Poor Support.

All resolution on user and acess problems are direct to Support which doesnt work.. More than 2 months user with more than 3y and 200++ feedbacks

And theres user acting on postage for spamming and other things but theres nobody working on support to guide ins what is going on?

Scammers are treated much better than actual advertisers

Don't waste your money paying for an ad as stated by somebody else in Cork tech sections.No sooner is your ad up on the site it is gone from the main page. It is filled with shop accounts selling hundreds of items that are being constantly deleted and re bumped to the top. Usually it's old tat 0.1 pc of the population wants.The computer and electronics section is for unscrupulous shops selling bits of dodgy repaired tech. Individual private sellers do not stand a chance.Be on the look out for old pc parts as well, that are placed inside a new case with lights. This is a well known trick to fool people who have no knowledge of PC's . The parts are all taken from other rigs and repaired with varying longevity . Usually not more than 3 to six months of use.You will have no warranty and no comeback. Buy only from people who have receipts for warranty of any items.Also bring witnesses to any deal.The site can be made great by removing the scammers and bringing it back to the people and not shops.

A nightmare of a site, constantly having to sign in, staff not helpful and terrible slow to reply, really terrible support, the worst ever site, constantly has problems. Allows people on it that should not be allowed. They are only interested in people/scammers that wants to give them money to do nothing. Avoid this site

The site is, in my opinion, a cesspit or Mos Eisley of the Irish online market place! I got scammed and can’t get through to their support.
I take it they don’t want to deal with it and the user who scammed me is still online!

SAVE YOUR MONEY, DO NOT USE THIS SELLING SITE, I HAD MY CAR ON THE SITE COST €21 TO POST IT AND FROM THE START ONLY GOT AGRO FROM BUYERS WHO WANTED THE CAR FOR HALF THE ASKING PRICE THEN LEAVING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK THAT THIS LOT WOT'T REMOVE, I REPORTED THESE 2 GUYS TO ADVERTS.IE MODERATORS BUT THEY DONE ABSOLUTLY NOTHING, THIS KEPT HAPPENING UNTIL I HAD NO OPTION BUT TO WITHDRAW MY ADD. THEY WILL HAPPILY TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR IT, (BOGMANK)

I live in Galway and regularly use adverts.ie to buy and sell used items. My experience of using this site is positive. If you take good photos, give honest descriptions and reasonably price your items they will sell but it may take time. However, living in the Dublin area, because of its population density, will be an advantage. All in all, I have found and continue to find adverts.ie a very good marketplace.

I have been scammed by PickPackShip.ie, and Adverts.ie or Garda did nothing to protect my consumer rights.

I am a victim of a FRAUD from PickPackShip.ie. The item that I bought was not complete, and after months, I didn't receive the missing part or the money back.
They are asking me to repack the item and send it to London to an Amazon 3rd party, and the shipping cost is on me!!!

1- Why I should send the item to Vivo Technologies, an Amazon seller, if I bought it to PickPackShip.ie on Adverts.ie???

2- Why do I need to pay a delivery fee to London if the seller address published in Adverts.ie is Dublin 1 ???

I want to return the item in Dublin and have my money back!

I've found some great deals on adverts.ie but at the same time have almost fallen victim to scams on multiple occassions.

If you stick with well reviewed users and use common sense with pricing you will normally have a good time (assuming someones account wasn't hacked!).

Unfortunately they are doing very little to combat scams and account takeovers, the later of which would be easily fought by making users use 2FA which is a common practice these days.

Given these guys own DoneDeal also (to my knowledge) they are not hurting for money and could afford to combat some of the fraud with better moderation and security policies.

I was scammed on this platform.do not buy off this platform as when you need help they don't return it.buyers beware.buy at your own peril

Wonderful Marketplace

Adverts.ie is a wonderful marketplace to buy and sell used stuffs. Never had any issues with the platform. The support team is easy to work with as well.

one day could`t login in to my account. Contacted Adverts.ie by email numerous times still no reply or explanation to this day. i DO NOT recommend this website !

Scammers, I was forced by the admin to delete the "Adverts" account because I can't use it, it's blocked, very bad customer service, I don't recommend, after 14 years I'm closing the account, shame adverts
