Alpine Aluminium Avis 

Had a great experience with Alpine - courteous, professional and above all else very reliable. I am shocked and quite saddened to see some of the reviews below. I'm not sure if they have had any issues with their suppliers but to my mind this is a company I would never hesitate using again, whether it be for personal or business reasons,

DO NOT order through this company. They took payment in full and have failed to deliver twice. The second time they didn't show up on the day - despite phoning to confirm they were coming. I had an installation team ready and waiting. When I finally got someone to take my call (Lauren) said they weren't even in production. When I asked for a refund she said it 'wasn't allowed'.
I have incurred financial loss as a result. I am a single mum and my house has been left exposed and open to the elements for weeks. I am starting legal proceedings and will be reporting them to Trading Standards.

These people ARE ROGUES! Do not use them. We have paid our deposit and the company have let us down twice on delivery and now we are out of pocket with no windows or bi-folds to be seen! They have continually lied to us, telling us the items have been manufactured but as soon as we get to delivery date, they change stories. We should’ve realised they were a tin-pot organisation when we were originally asked to pay the full amount up front (which we thankfully didn’t do.) A very expensive mistake for us to make but I’d hate to think others ended up being ripped off like us too. So sad that there are still companies getting away with this sort of thing.

Worst service you can imagine. First time the day before installation they cancelled. Then they turned up at 18:15 on the Saturday evening for an afternoon installation that would take 5 hours. Then they didn’t turn up on the third date. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible company.
Severely understaffed phone rings out and out. They were unable to fulfil the agreed delivery date after we had to wait 3 months due to their backlog in production. We only found out they were unable to complete installation of the doors and windows on the agreed date after we called them the week before to confirm delivery. We had to post-pone the building works as result incurring significant financial losses. Another company now engagement and they are much more professional. Alpine refusing to refund or acknowledge their shortfalls. I would recommend to stay away and go to a more professional company

I was very pleased with a bathroom window replacement, the position of the window on the 3rd floor of a central London residential block made it a tricky job so I really appreciated the attention to detail and the extra efforts that the team made to ensure that the job was completed satisfactorily.

Following a hiccup with the companies means of payment, following our deposit, we got a fixed date for the installation.
We are very happy with our new sliding aluminium patio doors and the professional manner in which they were installed, full praise to Trevor and Thomas who take pride in their work.

I used Alpine as I was let down from my builder. My builder agreed to supply and fit and some bi-folds within my renovation costs, I am particular in what I like and I was happy to agree to this based on seeing the product provided. To cut a long story short, the offering my builder provided was of substandard quality and I wasn’t happy. This meant I needed to get some bi-folds fast... within the same day of the enquiry i have received my quotation and plenty of information of the product. I visited the showroom the next day and I was greeted by Judy who was great. I placed my order in the showroom and within 3 weeks The bi-folds were installed on site. Super fast turnaround and great product, thanks Alpine.

Great service from start to finish

I was recommended to Alpine by a friend who had recently purchased from Alpine, for there new build. There job included a full house of windows and entrance doors, along with some Bi-folds. My project was very similar, with a full house extension, covering 2 stories and i wanted to replace all the windows in the property whilst the work was taking place.The price wasn't the cheapest but the 15 year guarantee and the fact i could see the product, made it worth paying extra. I visited the show room and placed the order and within 2 weeks i had a surveyor on site to measure and run through the details with me. i was then given a date which was 3 weeks after the survey, i did however receive a call a couple of days prior to installation to notify me installation would be delayed by a week as a machine had broken down. This didn't bother me too much as these things happen and other parts of my project have also been delayed and i would rather wait to have good quality product installed. The product was installed a week later and i couldn't be any happier overall. the installation team were friendly and tidy, along with lots of attention to detail included. My house looks great and my extension is now nearly complete - Thanks Alpine

UPDATE
My windows and frames did get delivered, however some of the frames and glass were damaged. After much chasing it was agreed on 30th Sept that an engineer would come today to inspect the damage. At 4pm today I received a call to say due to a “family emergency “ the engineer could not come. Another visit has now been rearranged for the 17th October, I fully expect this visit will not happen either and I now prepared to get this resolved through legal proceedings.

Alpine Aluminium are refusing to supply the 15 year guarantee that I was promised (verbally and in writing) and have said they are not obliged to repair any damage unless is it visible from more than 2 meters away (quote directly from their CEO!). They are the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Save yourself a lot of time, effort and money - avoid this company.

Do not go near this company. They are cheap for a reason, they don’t deliver.

Alpine Aluminium are quick to close the sale and make false promises about quick turn around times. Don’t fall for it.

I paid my deposit on 13th July and was assured the windows would be delivered very quickly which was a key deciding factor for me. My delivery date has been moved twice at short notice and even after receiving a notice to deliver from them in writing.

Broken machinery seems to be the common excuse. I paid the full balance of £10k on 22nd August, on the basis the windows would be delivered on 30th August (a date much later than I was told when I placed the order). On the 29th August I was told the order was moved to the 5th sept. Today I received an email confirming delivery for the 5th . I phoned them to check something only to be told the order has now slipped to the 13th sept and the person I was speaking to didn’t know why, Ops had gone home (at 3.15pm) and there was no one senior to speak to and their MD “rarely comes in”.

I have said deliver on the 5th as they confirmed in writing or refund my money in full and i’ll take my business to a company that actually delivers on what they promise. I have absolutely no faith this company will deliver my windows and with a house that is barely habitable thanks to lots of holes for windows, glass roof, French doors, sliding doors and bifolds, I feel I have no alternative now but to take legal action if my windows do not get delivered this week.

Their customer service is non existent, I have left so many calls that never get returned and anyone I do speak to can’t help. Dealing with this company is stressful and I just wish I could turn back the clock.
