Easy to navigate website, good range of product, sensible pricing and really good packaging with free3 deluivery - what isn't to like?

This Company has very good Customer Support Services.

Good correspondence in helping me find the right profile and urgency to get the materials out to site.

I ordered a sheet of stainless steel which was outsourced to a courier company, once at my job, I unpacked the item only to find out that three of the corners of bent. I spoke to Customer Care and he was very quick to send me out a replacement with their own driver. So I’ve no issues using them for similar material.

Item was not a standard item due to the polishing that I required, but after discussing my requirements to staff it arrived in a relatively short time. Really well packaged, and exactly as i required.

A really poor experience unfortunately. Beware of this company unless you have a good grasp of UK consumer law to protect yourself from their 'policies'.
We order Aluminium tube early for a job. When it arrived it was not a tube but egg shaped. I assume it was badly handled by the courier (or we got the end of a tube and the cutting process deformed it).

Ultimately the cause did not matter. The product was defective and we contacted the company for a replacement. They said we had the product for 2 weeks and so they would not replace it.
I explained that in the UK we are covered by consumer rights laws that meant we have at least 30 days (perhaps 5 to 6 years depending on where you live in the UK) to return defective products.
We wrote emails and had multiple phone calls, wasting their time, our time and adding to the general stress of trying to run a business in the UK currently.

Eventually the company begrudgingly refunded us. It is worth noting that it took over 2 weeks to arrive - their courier charged them for overnight (according to the label). We didn't raise a complaint to this delivery time (despite being charged premium rates) as we are a small business and appreciate that companies can't control their couriers.
A real shame that we chose to use this company in the first place. If they had handled our complaint sensibly (and legally) there would be no need to leave a negative review. However, they way they handled it was their choice and so we will chose not to use them again and chose not warn others of service they may receive.

Needed some aluminium for a small project and Aluminium Warehouse had just what I was looking for.

Really pleased. Important to note that, despite their company branding, they sell other materials. I needed some 303 stainless bar quickly. It was packed well and came fast. It machines beautifully and ticked the box nicely. Perfect.

I've ordered from AW on many occasions - I don't think I've ever found them wanting. The order process is good - all online, all OK.

It can take a while to get the material - 'order in process' + delivery time is about a week, so budget for this when ordering!

Aluminium Warehouse supplied a solid brass inlay for a wood flooring job. The product was made to order in 3m lengths with one polished side the turnaround time was brilliant and delivery as expected. Product was perfect as required.

I've seen all the 5* reviews which I've no doubt are heartfelt and sincere - my 1 * review is equally heartfelt and sincere. I ordered what I assumed to be a standard product ( 1metre z hanging bars) but decided they weren't suitable after all. I never opened the package and therefore assumed a return would be easy. WRONG. They refused to accept a return on the grounds it was specially cut but if you look on their website , the 1 metre lengths are shown as standard lengths but A.W would have none of it and quoted endless terms and conditions supporting why they wouldn't receive the package back even accepting I would pay the postage.If you can be bothered go on their website, look at the item and see if you agree with me that the impression is that these are standard lengths.This would never happen with Amazon - God bless Jeff Bezos - I suppose if one out of hundreds of items I order online meets a concrete wall in terms of customer service- I shouldn't complain.Like I told them I won't have to sell my BMW 7 series for £100 worth of aluminium but it's the principle - oh well I guess there are times in life when you know you have to give up -
