Found the item we wanted pretty quickly with the help of a great customer service person (James @ Cairns Store) - finalised the sale quickly & efficiently :)

Dealing with Amart Townsville store on the phone from Sydney was fantastic. All good. But my delivery experience was negative. I paid $100 extra on the phone for old sofa to be taken away but on the day of delivery driver (who does not work for Amart) said he had no instructions on taking old sofa away and did not want to do it. Also refused to contact Amart himself, so I had to chase all this up in a panic and contact Amart again who confirmed they ahd sent the right instructions/paperwork. Seems to be a big disconnect between Amart Townsville and their delivery service, which is unfortunate.

The Amart have wide range of products. Supportive and friendly staff. Easy check out.

Great quality and fast and reliable delivery

Very poor delivery service—unreliable, disorganised, and expensive.

My delivery was confirmed for 22 July, so I arranged to work from home that day. However, the driver unexpectedly came on 20 July. I was then told that delivery on the confirmed date was impossible. It was eventually delivered on 24 July, but the parcel was simply left unattended at my front gate. I had to rush home to make sure it was not stolen.

The whole experience was extremely frustrating, and I will not order from this retailer again. In comparison, I ordered a mattress from Fantastic Furniture and had a perfect experience. I will be spending my money with Fantastic Furniture in the future.

Customer Service was great

Im absolutely furious and extremely disappointed in the service we are still in the middle of receiving.
We went to Virginia store and purchased a house full of furniture for our newly built family home.
We took ages trying to choose beds due to alot of options not being available for months. We finally found beds that would arrive within weeks.
At the counter the computers kept crashing so it was a long wait. We then got double charged for our king bed which meant we had to go back again and wait for the computers that crashed again.
We finally sorted it out and waited the couple weeks for our furniture to be delivered to only find out our kids beds would not be ready for another couple weeks. We rang a couple weeks later to find out it would now be a month wait.
Originally were told we would only wait for the hallway table . It turned into still waiting for tv unit my 2 kids beds and the hallway table.
My children are currently sleeping on a mattress on the ground. Extremely unhappy!!! We spent alot of money at this company.

I wanted 2 recliner lounge chairs in a charcoal colour. I was presented with a number of options after being greeted by a friendly & knowledgeable staff member. Options included price, fabric, colour, care package, electrical or manual, etc. All questions were answered thoroughly. I even found out there is one range that offers both electrical or manual or one of each which is great if you want the benefit of electric for one & a manual for another which solves the issue of power cords to chairs not near a power outlet. My purchase was made very easily & I took the option of unpacking, assembly & removal of the packaging which is well worth the low cost. I went to Harvey Norman & Fantastic Furniture previous to Amart. No one offered to help at Harvey Norman & they were not busy. Fantastic were a little more helpful but not much. Amart shined in comparison. Delivery is only 2-3 weeks & the range of products & prices is great!

I am very pleased with the quality of the product I purchased. It is well-made, durable, and exactly as described. The product offers excellent value for money and meets my expectations in both appearance and functionality. It was clear that attention has been given to quality, and I feel confident that it will last for a long time. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would not hesitate to shop at Amart again.

Ciaran assisted me with selecting my next hobby chair. I sit for a lot of my hobbies, playing video games, knitting, drawing, and scrap booking. I advised him how I prefer to sit, and he delivered on a range of chair recommendations. He took into account my height and lap depth which I never even considered. He didn't push me into anything that didn't fit what I was wanting, but did suggest other options in line with what I needed.

We had a fantastic experience with Amart from start to finish. Living an hour and a half away, we relied on the website to research products and narrow down our options before making the trip. The website was easy to navigate and made it simple to find furniture that suited both our style and budget.

The highlight of our visit was Teresa. She was absolutely wonderful—friendly, welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to answer all of our questions, helped us compare different options, and made us feel completely comfortable without any pressure to buy. It’s rare to receive such genuine, attentive customer service these days, and Teresa is a real credit to the Amart team.
