This is a well planned trip covering major areas that the Apostle Paul would have traveled. Great tour guides who shared their knowledge of the ancient world culture as we walked through each site. The add on cruise was very worthwhile adding more sites of Christian history as well as many other beautiful places to visit. A tour representative was always with us making the whole experience seamless!
Our land tour group size was 20 which was very manageable to stay connected while off the bus and we could easily get to know each other while traveling and dining.
I liked the balance of organized sightseeing along with time to explore some areas on your own.
I would recommend this trip to anyone who has an interest in seeing modern Greek life along side Greece’s place in ancient world history. You will walk in both worlds!
This was our Golden Anniversary trip after meeting in Greece in 1975 as college students and that made it extra special for us.

The bus driver and tour guides were amazing! So much history and the driver did a fantastic job. We loved the cruise and seeing all the sites where Paul had walked was truly amazing! Would go again!

Our tour guides were knowledgeable and looked after the group. They really looked after our group and solved issues as they came up.

The entire trip was amazing to me, the trip started in Athens. Both the history and the food stood out to me. Our tour guide, Maria, did an amazing job explaining the history of the Acropolis and I learned many new things. I also loved the cruise, I only wished we could've stayed longer in Turkey and Santorini. The hotel in Thessaloniki was the perfect place to end the trip, and, as an added bonus we got to see some of the Modball Car Show. I also loved the town of Lydia. Seeing these places really brought the Bible to life. Note: while I know the weather is not something that can be controlled, the weather was perfect for our trip being in the 75°F-86°F.

AGT and AIT provided an awesome trip. The tour guides, accommodations, transportation, meals, scheduled tours and all other details were excellent!

AIT made our trip truly once-in-a-lifetime enjoyable. The multiple locations throughout Greece, Turkey and the adjoining islands were well coordinated. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and the accommodations were excellent. Communications were clear and consistent from planning and throughout the trip.

My rating is a 4.5 overall only because a couple of places we planned to see were not available or open to us.

The communications prior to the trip was great from Reagan. Our tour guide for Athens and the Cruise, Eleni, was amazing! She went over and above for us and was extremely helpful with all our tour requests. Eleni handled 60 people like a pro. Can't say enough good things about her.

We took a group of 40 people from our church to tour Greece in the footsteps of Paul. AIT handled every single detail flawlessly. Aside from the amazing aspects of the trip itself, AIT took care of all transportation, hotels, tour guides - basically everything! All we had to do was enjoy the journey. We are very grateful to AIT for making this an amazing experience for our church!

Our experience with this group was excellent. We would use them again. Our overall guide, Eleni, is the best in the business. All plans were organized and double checked so each day went smoothly. It was a land tour and a cruise at the end of May and into June of 2026.

But we got to experience where are the possible? Paul have been and seeing all the sites of the countryside.

The cruise excursions and land tours were well prepared. Dinner on the rooftop at the Royal Olympic Hotel with view of the Acropolis was amazing. We felt that we experienced Greece, Turkey and the Footsteps of Paul with exceptional tour guides that were very knowledgeable and personable. The bus drivers were awesome navigating the curves and narrow streets. AGT was great at communicating and answering any questions and concerns. We would definitely book another experience with AGT/AIT.
