Red Light(Blow up) van

Booked LWB Van in for MOT, problem with mot equipment, we said next day is fine, phoned 3rd day & explain we have a red light on dash of my van and cannot do mot, in case our van blows up, we authorise inspection at £280 b4 mot, still not investigated by 2pm, claim they have more important Ford customers than me, why take my booking if i am at back of que.?
We have picked up van , days is too long for van off the road for MOT

Poor Service

Poor Service. Was lied too by service team. Had the van for the best part of a week, no faults found. Wouldn't reccomended

I bought an Iveco exlong 4100 wheel…

I bought an Iveco exlong 4100 wheel base, two years old still under warranty. 52k miles
It felt strange so I took it back for an Mot It failed and I was told not to drive it as it was a death trap, broken springs knackered brakes and so on they refused to meet my warranty expectations. I had traveled 1500 miles
It was supposed to come with a spare tyre I was promised one but it never happened.
My company also asked for an estimate for a new van it never happened.
I phoned and asked for an mot I was told the wait was 6 weeks

Put my van in as it went into limp mode i heard something pop off as i was driving im not a mechanic but was a bit sceptical when they told me it was the injector washers at a cost of £790 however i agreed as they verbally said this would definitely fix the van ,they then carried out the work which took over a week then after chasing them up daily they broke the news to me that it hasn't fixed the van and it now needs a new turbo at roughly £1900 and i still need to pay the £790 and they couldnt guarantee this would fix the problem as ‘theres so much bits that can go wrong with them’ on a 10 year old transit custom van they expected me to gamble £2700 on a possible fix , i collected the van and im now having a real mechanic look at the problem and ill be taking it further to try and get my £790 back absolutely robbery they are completely clueless , i urge everyone to boycott this shambles of a company. Will never be back

Service not done!!!!

They were supposed to service my van which I paid for and two weeks later the oil filter rusted through causing a huge oil leak on my drive turned out they didn't do anything just charged me for it.
Asked when I was in about some warranty paintwork they said they would chase it for me I chased it up a couple times with no results ended up going to parks ford inverness had it sorted in two weeks.

AM Phillips and the people of Forfar

We live in Blackpool and got the train to Aberdeen to pick up a Ford motorhome I'd bought. Within 60 miles it started playing up then refused to go over 10mph, it stopped right opposite AM Phillips Truck tech near Forfar. This was Sunday morning so we camped outside reception till Mon. At 7.30 we went into reception, I told her the problem, she smiled, was friendly and filled out some details from the van. They had it in the workshop within 30 mins as they knew we had to get back home for work. She asked if we wanted to go into Forfar for breakfast while they worked the van. They drove us in, rang us when the van was ready, picked us up and handed back the keys. The service was unbelievable and not something I expected or had from any other business in my life. All the staff I talked to were great, one mentioned it was the best job he'd ever had! We spoke to an old lady in Forfar while waiting for the pickup who offered us free accommodation if they couldn't fix the van! The whole experience of dealing with Scottish people was incredible. We were stunned by your hospitality. Thank you AM Philips and all who made our forced stay a happy experience.

Parts service is absolutely appaulingly…

Parts service is absolutely appaulingly difficult.
Like dealing with a 70's company.
I ordered 2 Iveco parts and 1 was in stock and the other due the next day. I collected the in stock item at full retail price despite being in trade....no trade discount given at retail counter - wheres the trade counter then?? the other was due in next day 1st thing...with promise of call. Never got a call. Never got a call back from messages about my call into the dealership for the part.
So I emailed them asking them to post out the ordered part - no reply.

They deserve to go bust.

I work VERY hard to keep my scarce customers happy...these guys simply don't give a rats ass.

My recent encounter with the reception…



My recent encounter with the reception at [Iveco Sole Dealer] in Scotland left much to be desired. Upon arrival, I was met with nothing but indifference - no greeting, no acknowledgment, just blank stares. Even attempts to reach them over the phone were met with silence. It's disheartening to see such a lack of basic courtesy in customer service.

Moreover, their status as the sole dealer for Iveco in Scotland seems to have fostered an air of arrogance. The entitlement displayed by the staff is off-putting and does not create a welcoming environment for customers.

To add to the frustration, the quality of repairs provided falls far short of expectations. It's evident that they lack the expertise or dedication required to perform proper repairs.

Overall, my experience with [Iveco Sole Dealer] has been thoroughly disappointing. I strongly advise others to steer clear and seek alternative options for their automotive needs.

My not being Scottish might have been an issue too.

BUYER BEWARE

We bought a vehicle online and had it delivered.

We were promised a new mot and a new service. There was no paperwork whatsoever that came with the vehicle and when we asked for it realised that neither the mot or service was done. We were sent a 118point vehicle check that was neither signed nor dated, so probably worthless. This check did not pick up that a headrest was missing so we suspect it was not carried out at all as the check states clearly that any errors will be rectified before the vehicle is sold.

We arranged to have the vehicle returned as it was mis-sold, being not as described. It was also not fit for purpose as there was an engine warning light on that we noticed after the first day and less than 20 miles driving. It could have been on originally.

We agreed a return date and were promised that once collected we would be refunded. We were refused the cost of returning the vehicle but were not charged for the delivery. It took six days to return our money after the agreed return date which we met. This was a great inconvenience as we could not buy anything else until we had our refund. We asked for the cost of a hire vehicle for the six days but this request has been refused!

The Trucktech website states that they give “exceptional customer care “ and “provide quality vehicles and quality service, promptly and efficiently “. Our belief is that this did not happen in this case.

This has been a thoroughly poor experience and we would advise anyone to avoid this company at all costs!

Major Motorhome Service

From first booking my motorhome in for major service until collection the customer service and communication was brilliant, one of the best garages I have had the pleasure in dealing with. Thanks Joy and rest of the team

Rear break calliper fell off the…

Rear break calliper fell off the vehicle less than 1000 miles of ownership, a loss of 12 hours work. Having only taking receipt of the vehicle 20th March.

A few weeks later the vehicle failed it’s MOT less than 1000miles of ownership. I’ve not had the van long and honestly it’s resulted in a loss of earnings and big bill because in my opinion it wasn’t vetted well before being handed over. Not ideal for a small business,

Friendly sales team but if you are a smaller customer buying a used vehicle look else were. Your custom isn’t valuable enough.

I had my Ford Ranger serviced today at A M Phillip and I am so happy I drove 70 miles there to get it done. Absolutely brilliant customer service and the Technician knew what he was doing and sorted my truck out. Thank you to the team, I felt I was treated as a human and not a number like the agent in Aberdeen.

Hi all

Hi all, Just thought I’d put a review on to Thank everyone at Trucktech especially David. I recently purchased a Transit Custom from these guys and it turned out to be everything I expected and more. I live in Cardiff and was willing to fly up to Inverness to pick the vehicle up (flights booked) until lockdown happened again 🙄 however David helped with the logistics and had the van delivered virtual to my door step! I paid outright for the van without seeing it in person but the honest and detailed video sent by David was enough for me to commit to the purchase. All correspondence was instant which put my mind at ease especially with parting with such a large amount of cash. Would I buy again from these guys? 100% yes! Well done all for being professional 👌
