I am beyond frustrated and appalled by…

I am beyond frustrated and appalled by the absolute shitshow you’ve put me through since December. Two engines, two defective piles of garbage. The first one was busted out of the box, the second one no better. After I posted a scathing review calling out your pathetic lack of quality control and support, Clifton Carter reaches out that as per the owner that I never spoke too, demanding I remove my previous review before he’d “fix” the mess. I did, hoping to salvage this nightmare.

Then I get the replacement engine—an embarrassed joke with over 100k miles, not the 18k promised. After slapping it in, it’s clear you shipped me another dumpster fire: cracked manifold, seized pulleys, bent valves—you name it. I’ve sent photos to Clifton who just passes along generic, dismissive emails from Daniel. Apparently, QC is a joke to you since Clifton admits they never see these engines of the parts they ship. This engine haven’t seen oil for years.

I’ve already sunk $3,600 into this bullshit. I offered a local engine for $6,500 to end this circus, only to be told they're forced to buy from their shady vendors. Now Daniel has the audacity to demand I pay return shipping plus a 25% restocking fee? After delivering not one but two unusable engines? That’s beyond deceptive; it’s downright criminal business practice.

Here’s the deal: I expect you to refund every damn cent I laid out. Anything less is unacceptable.

Fix this. Now.

Hands down the absolute WORST part company I've ever dealt with! They're SCAM artist who lie just to keep your hard earned money! Their parts are garbage and even when u send in all the required documents for the warranty you still get denied. I would NEVER recommend anyone shopping with them! 🚮

Do not buy from AM used parts

Do not buy from AM used parts. They will not warranty the part. Not worth the paperwork it's written on. Even when you send them everything they want and explain to them the procedure they will slow roll the process not call you back just send an email and if you are not setting watching the 30 day clause will get you the warranty denied. Trash company. Sales man lie to sell it then it's yours. DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY..

The engine that needs $1,500 worth of repairs to maybe work

Like a lot of the other stories on here. Daniel, Michael and some guy named Clifton could care less that they send you a useless engine. They tell you it's pressure tested before you buy but then after you buy they tell you it's not pressure texting. I bought a "55,000"mile engine that was full of rust, corrosion and an exhaust manifold with a hole in it. The truck now needs about $1,500 of work to maybe get it right. Absolute nightmare. When you talk to them. It's like talking to a bot because they just read off a script of well, that's not covered under the warranty. They're a florida-based company but my engine came from Pennsylvania. They don't even look at these engines they just purchase them from some some junkyard or Warehouse I don't know. And when you try to appeal to honesty or integrity that they have all over their website cuz their family owned. They pretty much just laugh it off.

Staff uses fake names when talking to…

Staff uses fake names when talking to customers and they are a parts “Broker” when they really just sell cheap junkyard parts from 3rd party salvage yards as they’re own stock you can see the discrepancy based on they’re shipping locations when ordering and receiving tracking info after the weeks of waiting, Owner is actually Angelo Metallo, and his wife Alexandria Metallo is involved with the rest of the family in this Scam of a place, mileage is based off of a template used as a script for price and mileage so mileage will never be accurate, many parts have well over 100k mileage and they are advertised as 20k-60k miles

Do not order transmissions from A M Used Auto Parts

I ordered a transmission from them 11/15/2024 for my 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500LT pickup. When it arrived, I followed their requirement of replacing filters, seals, gaskets and fluid that was done by a certified mechanic. I then took the truck to the local Chevrolet dealer to program the transmission with my truck. After the programming it shifted very roughly. When I put it in drive it hesitated and "banged" into gear. It would not accelerate smoothly and continuously slipped when changing gears during acceleration. I reported this to AMUAP and they told me to have a diagnostics test run which I did at the same Chevy dealership. The test recommended that the transmission was in need of rebuilding. When I submitted the receipt to AMUAP, they asked for proof of parts purchase. I Submitted a receipt for the parts, but they rejected it. I asked why they needed a parts receipt after I established they sent me a bad transmission. After almost a year of back and forth communication they still have refused to honor their warranty. I spent $4,210.00 on transmission, $185.00 on parts, $1000.00 for installation,$230.00 for the programming and $246.00 for the diagnostic test. Then they needed proof that I had installed their transmission into my truck and the only way to prove that was a picture with their marking on it. The only way to get a picture of their marking was to remove the transmission as their marking was on top of the housing. So I paid another mechanic $400.00 to remove the transmission to take a picture of their marking. So I have a total of $6,271.00 tied up in a transmission that doesn't work and needs rebuilding.
The reason I did this was because I wanted to sell the truck and the original transmission was slipping as 2020 Chevy trucks start doing after 150,000 miles. Now I can't sell the truck because the transmission is bad and AMUAP wont honor their warranty. I'm a 67 year old disabled veteran on a limited income and can not afford this loss.
Their website claims they're a family owned business but their staff refused to divulge the owner's name after I requested to speak with them, this is a very shady operation. The manager's name is Alexandria Metallica but they would not let me speak to this person either.
If you google their address: 7526 Lithia Pinecrest Rd. Lithia, FL 33547 on google earth, their facility looks like a back yard mafia chop shop.
