Catastrophic customer experience !
Passing through Nice to try on a pair of Salomon shoes, the salesman immediately asks me if I intend to buy them in his boutique or order them from the brand's website. I tell him in all sincerity that I don't like the color and that I'd like to see if the shoe fits me first. He retorts that he doesn't do that kind of service and speaks to me with contempt, beginning to call me by my first name for no reason.
I explain that I work in the business and understand his position, but that I've just come to try on the pair. He replies: 'I don't care if you work in fashion.
A disastrous customer experience. Clearly, contempt is not exclusive to Paris.
