Absolutely terrible experience my driver drove to and from Southend using all my hours had a break during my hours dropped me home early and picked up late and said I wasn’t test ready so couldn’t do my test maybe if I had had the hours I paid for and him. It drive I would have been test ready still awaiting new test but said they can’t unless I buy a new crash corse ! Waste of money have been emailing and no response do not use

Strongly urge anyone looking for a fast-tracked route to avoid this company and reconsider your local driving instructors- lots of them will offer intensive courses!

All this company does is book you in with a local instructor, there is no additional benefit or safety from using this company but you risk a small fortune with their internal processes. For example, if something happens and your instructor can’t make it, that’s it. End of the road. There is no contingency plan (ie, a replacement instructor will not be provided) and you won’t be refunded or have the entirety of the intensive course rescheduled (in contradiction with their terms and conditions, 5 months later they still haven’t updated them). So don’t be fooled into thinking this is a safer option— cut out the middle man and book in with a local instructor yourself.

My 30-odd hour intensive course (to be taken over 10 days with test on the 10th day) actually ended up being spread out over months with a test in the 3rd month - I could have had normal staggered lessons for cheaper. I ended up pursuing lessons with the instructor directly and found it much smoother in terms of timing and pricing. I’ll recommend the instructor in a heartbeat but will forever warn people away from this company.

I wish I had got in touch with the instructor myself instead of using A Pass 4 U!

I've had a few different instructors over the years and things always got in the way of me taking the test until now. Karen is not one to mince words, relatively firm but very fair, if you make a mistake she'll tell you and keep reminding you till you don't make it again. For me, it was my mirror checks, even though I was aware of my surroundings, often way in advance of turns, Karen ensured that I covered every detail in preparation for my test. The week intensive course I organised through pass 4 u, got me back into driving aftet 2 years out and passed my test 1st time. She's the perfect instructor to clean off the rust and get you through!

Terrible experience,
Instructor, West Midlands area, possessed zero people skills and few teaching skills. Although stated in T&C a thorough teaching plan was not provided at any time. Instructor was undermining and at last minute refused to allow to take test. Manipulated times resulting in several hours short of payed course and refund refused.
Feels like we have literally being taken for a ride!!!
Be careful and save your money!!!

My experience started off pretty good. Competitive price point and a very competent instructor. Unfortunately I failed my test so contacted them to reschedule.

I had radio silence from them for MONTHS and when I logged into the DVSA site, I realised why. They had been booking me fake test slots and holding them for other drivers thus pushing back my own! I finally have another test scheduled but it is a whopping 8 months after my original because they have been using my ID to hot potato driving tests for other users who paid more. Very shady behaviour.

Abysmal company. I booked a 40 hour course. The instructor I got cancelled lessons due to problems with his leased car. I lost 5 hours of the 40 to tea breaks which apparently it says in the t&c’s the customer pays for half hour breaks in a 3.5 hour lesson. All in all a terrible experience. After all this I wasn’t allowed to take my test because I wasn’t ready in his opinion at a time when it was too late to reschedule the test. Had he of said two days before I could have rescheduled but he decided one day before… hmm. I wonder if there was ever a test booked in the first place? Much better off doing traditional driving lessons. Don’t waste your money with these. They had most part of £2000 from me when I could have got the same level of experience from £500 worth of traditional lessons.

Terrible experience with Chris - AVOID!

I rarely leave reviews but had to in this case due to the extremely poor experience I’ve had. I booked a 30 hour course which started off well but quickly became unenjoyable with Chris making inappropriate jokes about being deaf/dumb simply for asking him to repeat directions. He was also extremely stressed and unhelpful throughout the course which in the end left me no choice to complain as he didn’t even teach basic concepts such as an emergency stop. A pass 4 u took no accountability, ignored all of the specific points/quotes I provided and refused to offer a credit or refund for the final two hours which Chris didn’t even turn up for. A really poor experience and seems like a ploy to get more money out of you since he was constantly asking for me to pay for extra lessons in cash.
