The best membership plugin we tried.
Really good support. Having tried most of the Member plugins to provide some specific features we required for the API, this plugin proved to be by far the best. Nicest interface too with no clutter. Well designed and easy to work with and customise. The price is also the most reasonable compared to the other premium plugins. Altogether 100% recommended this has to be the best plugin of the bunch we tried.

Good plugin and support
We looked for some simple content restriction plugin, because we are selling in-person courses that require content to be accessed online for a specific time(span). ARMember was the only that supported the most requirements and it has a great valuity.
It also provides good role-management through a lot of capabilities and is easy to setup.
Additionally, support is really good, even with technical questions!

Ar Membership Pro Integration
In general, I am satisfied. Until now, I was unaware that I could integrate different redirection pages per product/subscription. The thing is that I will also try to install the woocommerce add-on inside the plug-in because I want to promote the subscriptions through our shop. Apart from that, the pug-in seems to operate smoothly and delivers what is promised.

False advertising of features, broken support portal, no refunds
I needed a solution that offered multi-currency support. They claim on their website that they provide this with a pro subscription, and this was confirmed by their chat support agent, so I paid for a pro subscription.
After learning that this is not true - they support a single currency only, selectable from a list - I made multiple attempts to contact them. I was directed to login to the support portal to create a ticket, and was later given conflicting stories. First, that I need to create a separate account after logging in. Second, that my account credentials are not recognized. They just wanted to argue with me instead of trying to help me. Every contact attempt was delayed by multiple days.
I have now made multiple attempts to request a refund, all of which have been ignored. I am attempting to recover my payment through a formal charge dispute with my credit card company. I don't treat my customers this way and don't tolerate others who do.
Update May 14 - "sorry for the inconvenience"? Yikes. That's a really terrible response.

Beware – This Company Cannot Be Trusted!
They secretly changed their lifetime deal into a yearly subscription, even for existing customers who originally purchased a one-time license. No notification, no consent—just a forced change after the purchase was made.
This is highly unethical and likely illegal, as companies cannot simply alter the terms of a paid agreement after the fact. When confronted, they refuse to fix it.
Their pricing is similar to major, reputable membership plugins, but unlike them, this company has a history of misleading sales tactics. Don't fall into the trap—avoid them and choose a provider you can actually trust!

VERY COMPETENT MEMBERSHIP PLUGIN
We have been using ARMember for several years now and we are very satisfied with the plugin itself. It was very reasonably priced and did not use a subscription scheme. Since our initial installation, we have had several updates and these work very well.
ARMember has many more features than we need but covers our membership needs very well. It links well with our payment system and with WooCommerce allowing us to give discounts to our members. We can email renewal reminders and even follow-up reminders. It allows us to give different membership groups access to normally hidden web-pages. This access system fits well with Wordpress pages and menu items.
On logging in, members can be directed to specific welcome pages appropriate to their membership group.
I would like to be able to email specific membership groups but don't think that is possible.
We had support from ARMember for the first year or so and found it absolutely excellent. HOWEVER, now that we would like to renew our support we find that Envato, the seller for ARMember, will only extend support if we buy the product again. Otherwise I would award this product 5 stars.
POSTSCRIPT: I have attempted to follow the advice offered by ARMember. When I clicked the renew support link, I was directed to a page that said $56 for ARMember plugin, $3 for handling fee, $13.57 for VAT all totalling $72.57. (1) This does not look like support and (2) in Europe we usually display full prices rather than pre-tax amounts.

I understand your concern regarding the support renewal process through Envato, but please note that to get the renewal support you do not need to purchase the ARMember Pro again, but simply you can renew your support by following these steps:
1. Log in to your codecanyon account.
2. Hover over your username and click 'Downloads' from the drop-down menu.
3. In the downloads section, you can see a list of all the items purchased using your account.
4. Click on Renew support now!
