Pretentious, very poor service

Food was pretty good as were the drinks.
However, on arrival we were greeted by multiple bouncers asking if we had a reservation. Then, when led to table told we had precisely 2 hours and would then need to leave.
Initial ordering took far too long and drinks took a while - even water!
Initial course came fairly quickly after ordering and food was pretty good.
Then waited over an hour for plates to be cleared and to be offered a second drink.
Deserts took another hour but were quite good.
3 hours after arriving we’d had 2 drinks and 2 courses and after waiting far too long for the bill, and not being able to attract our waiter I went to look for someone who could be bothered to take our money… found the Maitre’d who almost laughed at me for asking for a manager…
Eventually a ‘manager’ arrived (basically the only person in a jacket), and stared at us like a rabbit in headlights. I asked him to remove the default service charge and get a card machine. We definitely should have just walked out - no one would have noticed nor cared. #shouldvegoneshish

Our table was booked for 8pm

Our table was booked for 8pm - we didn't get any mains until 10:20 and even then the steaks weren't cooked to how people requested. For the money we were due to pay, I would expect service and food to be to a much higher standard. We definitely were not the only table to complain that night. The only good thing was the bar area after and the cocktails. Definitely won't be in a hurry to return, especially to celebrate a Birthday.

Advertise and charge and then dont deliver as promised.
Money grabbing, rude and full of their own self importance.

It was my birthday and I am extremely…

It was my birthday and I am extremely saddened that it was ruined due to burning my fingers on the sparklers the staff brought out to me. This is highly dangerous especially for people that have never used/held it before I was given two sparklers by staff that didn’t warn me of how hot they would be, and despite telling them they were hot and burning continuously ignored me and now I am left with burns on 4 fingers. I understand it was not the intention and you want to bring them out for display but for health and safety reasons if you are going to give it to the celebrant, please advise them on how to hold it and give them the choice if they would like it or not. This incident ruined my whole birthday so have to give 1 star.

Club adjoining the restaurant really made it enjoyable, great music and we even got to meet Kem himself

Well done to him and his team - anyone with class who wants a quality food night out with good music, good atmosphere
