Account Deleted for Asking Why I Had Zero Sales for Over a Year
I have been a seller on ArtPal for a significant period, operating under the gallery name "Ramy Hefny Gallery" with the registered email XXXXXXXXX. I used their Print-on-Demand service to showcase my artwork globally.
For over a year, my gallery received consistent worldwide traffic — views from buyers across multiple countries — yet my sales were virtually non-existent. My last sale was in 2024. This massive gap between visibility and conversions clearly indicated a platform-side issue, not a problem with my art itself (the same artworks sell regularly on other marketplaces).
I contacted ArtPal support with a professional inquiry, asking whether there was a technical, algorithmic, or promotional issue affecting my account. I requested specific answers and, if no resolution was possible, guidance on how to close my account cleanly.
Their response? They deleted my entire account without warning, explanation, or prior notice.
No email explaining why. No opportunity to retrieve my data. No settlement confirmation for any pending earnings. Just complete erasure.
This is not how a professional platform treats its sellers. When a seller raises legitimate concerns about platform performance, the appropriate response is investigation and communication — not silent termination. This behavior suggests ArtPal is not equipped to handle criticism or support sellers who ask difficult questions.
Warning to other artists: If you value your portfolio, your time, and professional treatment, think carefully before investing your efforts here. A platform that deletes your entire presence rather than address a valid concern is not a platform worth building on.
I am now focusing entirely on other marketplaces that actually respect their sellers.
