I am so pleased I followed my instincts and went to Attwood Funeral Directors, from the minute I walked through the door I knew my beloved husband would be in safe hands. The funeral that Kate conducted for us was exactly as we had hoped for and we are so grateful. I can't recommend Mike and Kate highly enough - kind, professional and caring.

Michael, Kate and all at Attwoods made a very sad and stressful time so much easier for my family and I. Always someone available to field questions. Although not the overriding reason for using Attwoods they were extremely reasonable for costs. To Michael and all at Attwoods Thankyou from my Family.

Very happy with the service we received from Attwood funerals from initial point of contact through to the after care. Staff are knowledgable, compassionate and understanding. They are transparent about cost’s and they were happy to help with changes made to the arrangements. They are very accommodating. Communication has been fantastic on all points of contact. The funeral home itself is a calm and welcoming place with a soothing atmosphere.
The service was conducted by Attwood’s own celebrant which relieved pressure off of us also. They have been nothing but supportive throughout the whole process.

I just wanted to give my thanks for your care of my mum and our family during November, and particularly the work in making her funeral service on the 28th as pain-free, hassle free, and as memorable a day a possible for us (in the best sense, given the circumstances). You helped us to give her the day she deserved.

Thank you both, I think what you do as a profession is such an honourable thing and could easily be taken for granted in the sense that there is demand and you simply 'supply'... you both did a remarkable job for us and for our mum.

My dear beloved 99 year old mother passed away in my arms peacefully at home.. Mike came, and quietly and respectfully took my mother's body away.. He left a sprig of rosemary on the pillow, and gave another one to me, which is now growing..
All the arrangements were done with Mike and Kate's help, guidance, and support..
Mike respectfully walked in front of the hearse at every opportunity.. They arranged the slideshow, made the programs, and gave advice on flowers.. They couldn't have been kinder.. Many of our guests remarked on how lovely it all was..

Professional, decently priced, and meticulous about ensuring all details were exactly as I wanted them to be. Would definitely recommend, as they helped make a horrific event a little easier.

A family funeral is never a nice thing to have to go through but I will say Attwoods Funerals a family buisness were absolutely marvellous. Everything we spoke about was followed out to absolute precision. Nothing was missed and although a difficult time they made you at ease and attention to detail was to perfection. My sister recently lost her husband, Trevor and she asked me if I could help with his funeral. I chose Attwood Funerals and I have to say that the service they provided was exceptional.

They are professional, non-judgemental and very caring people; nothing is too much trouble. They answered queries and emails promptly and I can say I didn't have to worry about anything as they had it all in hand. Attwood's prices are also very competitive (I know because I have lost 3 family members during the last 8 years).

Their Celebrant, Kate, is a lovely lady and the service she conducted at the Crematorium was just perfect. I had people come up to me afterwards asking who conducted the service, as it was so personal to Trevor. I would not hesitate at all in recommending Attwood Funerals.

Kate and Mike have been so helpful in a very difficult time. They have ensured that everything will run smoothly and have followed my wishes exactly, they also made suggestions I hadn't thought of, which was very useful. They have been very caring and have not pushed me towards things I didn't want. They have not rushed me and everything has been communicated clearly.

Although it seems crass to mention it here the value for money is superb.

A lovely small independent service. From the first phonecard, they helped us and guided us through the most difficult of times and literally organised everything. Can't thank them enough. Kate Sproher as our celebrant was amazing..personable and so eloquent during the service for my mom. We had so many comments about how lovely it was. She understood what we wanted perfectly.
