I recently bought a pair of shoes through Banana Fingers as a birthday present for my boyfriend. I had a couple of questions relating to the purchase and so I got in touch with the team shortly afterward. The staff were friendly, professional very prompt in their replies. In turn, the shoes arrived very quickly and I'm delighted with the product (and the price). I've only ever heard good things about Banana Fingers and I would whole heartedly recommend them.

The only two (really small nit-picky) things I would recommend on improving is:
1) The sizing selections for trousers/jeans. Why refer to things as large, medium etc...then include a chart referencing the sizes. Why not just use those sizes. Less confusing.

2) Make the site navigation less cluttered. Its almost a list of sub-navigation options with no main top level options included. It's a small gripe but does make trying to find things a little harder.

I got a good deal on a Rab Resolution jacket (a high amount of high-grade goose insulation and a fully waterproof shell). It was out of order but it was possible to order in advance. It took a short while, but after emailing with customer service, I got speedy and friendly replies from Lucas, assuring me the item would be shipped asap. I've just received the jacket, in good condition. It is a good fit and I'm sure it will keep me warm and dry. Good items, good prices, good service. Recommended!

Website and order process feels very dated. However, item received fast. I bought 2 pairs of shoes and sent back the ones that didn't fit. Refunded without hassle.

Will use again. Don't let the dated site fool you, they are a genuine company!

£90 down on an order after taking advice off them ...bought a pair of climbing shoes and they were the widest shoe they stock ...even got a size larger and when i put them on to climb in (told they would stretch) they made my foot bleed because of the pressure and now im stuck with shoes that dont fit and basically a pair of expensive paperweights ....no refund as i have bled in them...also got ignored after a few messages and no one has offered any sort of compensation in the way of getting back the offset from cost or a voucher ...just get ignored ....AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Fast delivery (unlike many other companies sending their stuff from France or Germany). Also, it means that sending back within the UK would be cheaper but there was no such need as the shoes I ordered met my expectations.

I ordered a pair of Red Chilli Octan climbing shoes online. They were delivered quickly without fuss. Having visited the Banana Finger shop they have a good selection of shoes at competitive prices as well as other adventure training equipment/clothing. I would definitely consider using them again.

I bought a Snaps Grand Wrap boulder pad and was very happy with the speed in which it arrived and not having to pay extra for getting an extremely bulky item delivered, however when it arrived it was not the same colour as shown on the website and there was not an option to change the colour. It doesn't bother me that much as I bought it for function rather than looks but would have preferred it in green rather than fluorescent yellow 😎
