Barker Ross Group Avis 

I’ve never wrote a company review before…awful is an understatement. I won’t out the name of which recruiter I dealt with but she practically ignored me over and over when I remained keen for work, weeks and weeks went by with no phone calls, no updates, nothing. Deleted my account and will have my details removed from their system asap. You’ll only get work if you allow yourself to be summoned with practically 0 notice.

Firstly can I just say, awful company. Don’t ever work for them recently left the job, then I had to threaten them with legal action to get the money I was owed. If I didn’t bring up the fact that they tried to say I only worked one shift the week I was paid, still owed one more payment not too sure on wether or not I’ll have to ask them to pay me my wages that I’m owed. Should do it automatically, it’s also illegal to not pay someone their correct wages. Terrible agency don’t ever work for them.

Terrible agency to work for, every week my pay has been wrong and every week they tell me I have to wait until the following week for my wages they forget to pay me, I have had to leave my employment due to the short fall of money every week, when you argue they owe you money they assume you are wrong straight away and make you go back and forth with the employer instead of doing the job they are employed for in the first place.

They ask you to book holidays weeks in an advance and when it comes round to the actual day they never actually book it off for you,

I worked nights 18:00-6:00 and they like to ring you at 10 am in the morning even though they are aware you where at work the night before, it states online that the office closing hours are 5:30pm so why when is nights workers ring for anything after 3 pm do we get told to just text as nobody is in the office any more, absolute joke for an agency

If you sign up and your agency representative is Michail from the Derby branch stay well clear because he is absolutely clueless and you are just a number to him!

Total waste of time no communications stay away from this agency .

I had a positive experience Barker Ross agency. They successfully processed my job application and secured me an interview. Communication was excellent throughout — they kept me updated on every aspect of the job, so I always knew what to expect next. The team was responsive and professional. I had a job interview with a company I got the job Sam phoned me to say could I start Wednesday I said it would be better to start fresh o8n Monday he said let me ring and I will ring you back. One week later heard nothing. Message and phoned a few times and still nothing. Basically I got job but he's clearly gave it to someone else and not told me. Communication is at its worst.!!

The staff is very good. I competed my registration and induction in just one hours environment is very nice.

Very wrost management from agencies towards work in IPL , they will allocate shifts , they will call to location after going there location Peterborough they will send back home telling that no work today

Very unreliable recruitment agency. The registration process is quick, but after that, candidates are not treated like human beings – there is no transparency or respect.
The role description does not match reality at all; you only find out after starting work.
Communication is disastrous: you often find out at the last minute that you are expected to work, or that you are no longer wanted. If you are rejected, no explanation is provided.
Candidates are treated as completely replaceable. Very unprofessional experience, I would definitely not recommend this agency.
Additionally, I would like to note that following my personal opinion and feedback regarding the assignment and agency experience, the agency subsequently issued my P45.

This is a fantastic friendly company that found me a year's worth of work at a local council that i was perfectly suited for. Payments were always on time, unless it was (my fault for not submitting my timesheet before it went to accounts!) and they have always been helpful and reliable for, especially Ellie who was always there to help! Thanks Guys.

Avoid!! this agency they didn't pay me my wages that was owed to me.

Absolutely useless agency. Can't get hold of them, then they ring when your supposed to work a night shift and get funny with you saying you have a bad attitude. Funny how all staff are FORIEGN and treat the British people like crap! Would 100%AVOID!!
