Nothing here to inspire you
The range of spectacle frames is just like many other opticians in the High Street, they only sell the ‘safe’ designs and colours i.e. silver, gold and black. There are no frames to provide you with inspiration, variation or something out of the ordinary.

We used David Grimes in Canterbury for…
We used David Grimes in Canterbury for several years primarily because we could have our eyes tested and get our prescription fulfilled with one visit, i.e. same day visit. This service is no longer available since Bayfields bought out David Grimes so we will no longer be using Bayfields as others optician are much nearer to us.

Went to pick up glasses
Went to pick up glasses. Usual gentleman on holiday. Very pleasant replacement who however gave unfortunate impression of inefficiency by not appearing to know where things were and constantly disappearing. Also at no point was I offered a mirror.
