Bensons For Beds - Beckton Avis 

Shit company to work for it's like a prison camp management treat there staff like shit it's a horrible company to work for would not let anyone work for bensons for beds

Bought wardrobes from bensons

They arrived to install them and forgot the handles

They said they would order them and arrange to fit them on

We waited 2 weeks and heard nothing and I called them, bensons said they are not aware of this and ordered them again

Today they contacted me at 6.49 am to say they would arrive between 2-4pm

I agreed because I was at work till 1pm

Bensons arrived early while I was at work
I told them it’s between 2-4 and they said well it’s an estimate and I should I have waited in all day

I said that’s unacceptable and they said they won’t be coming again and I should deal with it my self

I won’t be using bensons again and I have reported them to the finance company v12 under section 75 of the consumer credit act

I now await a refund from v12 who will persue bensons

What an awful experience

The woman who helped us at the Beckton shop was friendly and helpful

The two gentleman, Andy and Tony were true professionals.
Collected the old mattress and unpacked and laid the new without fuss and without any delay or difficulty. Very thankful and pleased with the delivery

When I went to the store, the lady was very helpful and she showed me around the bed the mattress and to see which one would I wish well know I buy for myself

The issue with my order has been sorted very quickly.

I bought the bed and mattress. I called up today to ask for a refund as i found similar bed and mattress £200 cheaper. They refused to give me refund on the 8th day. Been told that ive been told that i have 7 days to cancel. they said a 20% admin fee is what they take for refunds. so they are taking £175 for a refund. Total scam. stay away from benson for beds as they said they take a 20% deposit for finance. They said it is 0% interest but still they take money which is for if people cancel they take for themselves. Ive been scammed. First time i shopped with benson and it will be the last. Please don't shop with benson. Customer service is terrible.

We wanted to purchase 2 ottoman beds. Jay at the Becton branch was extremely helpful. His advice and guidance made the whole process very easy for us. We got the best deal without a pushy salesperson which we had experienced in other stores earlier that day.
