Vile! What have you done to the mini kievs?! It was getting bad before without the filling but NOW they are VILE. I will never eat these again. Vile vile vile! Will never buy your products again. Not fit for human consumption!

Ewwww what happened mini Kievs??!!?!! They taste fowl , yet mushy and flavourless cost cutting ? Laziness I dunno but safe to say we won’t be buying their products anymore, not even close to worth it pretty sure aldi or lidl could make a better alternative , what a shame a once reliable and good company now makes food even dogs wouldn’t eat

The new recipe that Bernard Matthews has decided to us for their turkey keiv's are awful. They are mushy and smell rotten. I wish companies would not change things that don't need to be changed. My child is autistic and struggles with food so when we find something she really likes it would be helpful for companies like Bernard Matthews do not change products.

The Old Recipe was a Staple in my household it was always on the menu at least once a week. and if not included in a meal it was perfect for a snack.

It’s fair to say I will never be buying them again with this new recipe the “breadcrumb” outer coating is like cardboard the “meat” is gritty and the garlicky “filling” if there is any is absolutely repulsive the board of directors at this company should be sacked immediately.

The age old saying goes ( if it’s not broken don’t fix it ) so why they decided to change I’ll never know but how they got passed to go into production is beyond me

First time I have had a Bernard Mathews Turkey Crown (if thats what you could call it - Feeds 6-10, no chance.

I have never had a turkey crown which came complete with legs, rib cage and neck before.. The ones I've previously had from elsewhere was just literally the crown (breast) meat of the turkey, but with this one I had to cut out the neck, remove a sawn through half rib cage, and the half legs which were left on. WHY? The pack said it was all prepared and nothing to do to make Christmas easy - thats a laugh. Our Christmas meal was also ruined as there was not enough meat to feed 6 let alone up to 10 - probably enough meat for 3!!

First and last time for a Bernard Mathews turkey crown - it was not bootiful at all.

there little beauties used to be on of my favorites, now for the first time in years im struggling to eat them, the texture is horrible and closely resembles baby food, the taste well i cooked them for 15 minutes, i was so sure they where undercooked as the taste was disgusting, so i put them back in for another 5, and no they tasted the exact same, i have no idea what has been done to them but holy, also said 13 on the packet for £2.25 says average of 13, i got 10 i will not be buying these versions again

What used to be a nations favourite, has turned into an absolutely disgusting, bland (disappointment is not the word) bag of mushy tasteless things. I’m not going to call them mini kievs because they are not. Way to go Bernard Mathews, the most shocking thing about the change is it’s not mentioned, and someone actually had a meeting and decided that this was the way forward. Could have Put the price up, reduce the pack size or simply stopped making them, but I’m reading through comments that show I’m not wrong when I say. You have ruined your reputation as one of the leading family food favourites. I’ll never buy Bernard’s again after feeling like you ripped me off with a cheap copy and utterly ruined a family night.

If I could give it negative three stars, I would. What a disgrace.

My son is autistic and the mini kievs where a safe dinner for him I always have them in the freezer hadn’t been able to get any for a couple weeks and saw the packaging changed well I made them today and they are disgusting my son was so upset and has been all evening he keeps asking me for the original kievs! Why did they need to be changed they where fine the way they was

Yup! They changed the recipe and they’re almost inedible…and I’ll eat almost anything. My children and their friends all refused to eat them, so I thought I’d hit the jackpot getting to eat the spoils…the kids were right…the meat is now a flour laden paste and the sauce is unrecognisable. WILL NOT BUY AGAIN, AND WILL PROMOTE AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY FOR OTHERS TO NOT BUY EITHER.

Just had some turkey mini Kievs. I noticed the packaging had changed but didn’t think anything of it. One bite and I thought there was something wrong with them. The meat tasted like bread that had been chewed and spat out, rolled into a ball and cooked again. Absolutely disgusting. Genuinely can’t believe a company would sign off on this! Please change them back.

Packaging changed but unfortunately so has the recipe!
They remained as pale as they were in the freezer after 25 minutes in the oven.
Like rocks on the outside and grey mush on the inside, no sauce just a few herbs.
I actually thought they had mash potato in them the consistency was so off!
Threw 2 packs in the bin. Same as other reviews with autistic children this is a identified safe food for them.
What a let down!

Utterly devastated the new recipe is vile, kept thinking they were under cooked and the sauce is horrible inside, please bring back original recipe, such a childhood food for me and I’m gutted they aren’t as they were

Kiev balls well what can you say absolutely disgusting will no longer buy them, used to buy 3 bags a week, last lot were chucked in bin, grandchildren wouldn’t eat them so totally money wasted.
Such a shame as don’t know what to keep in freezer now for grandchildren when they visit. Anyway they must be losing money on this project put back to original recipe 🙏

What have you done to them?!! Mini kievs was the favorite of my childhood not had them in over a year buy them expecting what i last remember they are all mushy why would you do this? What is the point in changing a perfect product

Wtf are these now…. They smell funky like gone off cheesy .. mushy texture… cheap meat… zero creamy sauce ..

Bernard Matthews Mini Kievs have always been my absolute favourite meal to have, ever since I was a small child as my nan used to cook them with pasta for me every weekend I went to stay with her. This trend continued into my adult years all the way up until she passed away few years ago. I continued to eat them still and just had them tonight and Omg whatever they have done to them is just wrong. They have a different packaging, the shape is different and they taste bland and have a mushy texture. They even smell and taste like someone has grated foot cheese on them. My nan would be turning in her grave if she witnessed this. Absolutely shameful and the company should be disgusted with themselves. GO BACK TO THE OLD RECIPE!

These, the devils testies, are the worst balls I have ever put in my mouth. Neither garlicly or meaty, they are a foamy lackluster excuse for a mini Kevin, I have ever had. Woe was I, when subjected to only 12 balls in the sack, despite the advertised 13* (*apparently average of 13 but I bet it's always 12!), this marketing error could be excused had they not resembled the gesture of dry crublely worm patè and the flavour of althetes foot. A devastating blow to what was once a childhood sensation ruined the cheap and easy tea that was once a true pleasure after a hard working day. DAMN YOU Bernard Matthews! A curse on your house!

These new mini kievs have a dusty texture with absolutely no flavour, they feel so cheap and awful yet cost more than ever before, absolute disgrace.
