In between buying a used approved car and collecting it the paintwork was damaged by the dealer who attempted a paint repair that would make Stevie Wonder proud.
Having agreed to cover some cost of a professional repair the dealer then renaged on this and stopped replying to my emails.
Also overpaid the correct amount for the car and never recieved any money back.
Complained to BMW UK who also took to not replying to emails.
I find myself £200 out of pocket through no fault of my own

Connor was great in explaining everything I needed to know in the process of ordering a Motorbility car. Very polite and helpful. Assured me he’d keep me well informed of the progress of the car.

Quite simply, the WORST car dealer I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. Do yourself a massive favour and save yourself HUGE disappointment and choose a different BMW dealer. My complaints to BMW HO are ongoing.

Went to Cobham for an issue regarding a warranty claim but was directly advised by their obnoxious service manager to go elsewhere. He has been reported by me to BMW UK previously regarding his negative and hostile attitude but todate appears not to have learnt valuable lessons, not a good look for this dealership.

I cannot stress enough how terrible my experience was at BMW Cobham in Surrey. The staff in the used cars department are rude, unprofessional, and utterly disrespectful. One salesman—who sits almost directly across from the reception desk—called me “stupid,” told me I’d been “done over” with my current car deal, and even referred to me as “bro” in a condescending tone. When my fiancée politely asked for a 45-minute test drive, he laughed in her face. We were allowed to look around the BMW X3M Competition and were even told we could test drive it—until I mentioned we’d be financing the car. Suddenly, the salesman’s attitude flipped, and he claimed someone else was coming in for it. The worst part? The moment I said we were just browsing and getting ideas for our next car, he completely lost interest, treated us like we were wasting his time, and brushed us off with zero respect. It felt like we were being lied to, humiliated, and dismissed with absolute contempt.

After this awful experience, we decided to attend Porsche in Guildford, and they were the complete opposite. The staff were friendly, respectful, and professional from the moment we walked in. They treated us like valued customers, answered all of our questions, and made us feel welcome. If you’re considering going to BMW Cobham, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. Porsche treated us like people, not inconveniences. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place at all costs.

Typical sales patter - incredibly attentive from Simon sales manager with immediate email responses until sale is completed and then he completely blanks query emails.
I really would not use this company, very poor after sales service. Gave one star as I had to ... they deserve none.

Went to Cobham bmw last weekend with my husband and 3 year d to have a look at some used cars. Managed to bump into the used car manager Ranim who took time out to show us different options as his sales team were with other customers. The whole team seemed very friendly and will hopefully come in soon to finalise our next car.

I have had the great pleasure of purchasing an approved used car which is in absolutely mint condition.
I was very ably helped with this by James Austin-Rooth, who from the moment I contacted him on the Thursday, arranged a test drive for Friday and I collected the vehicle on Tuesday.
He guided me through all the paperwork and nothing was too much trouble, answering any questions that arose.
This is the type of person you want selling you a car and I am very pleased with the ease of how things went.

I picked up my car on the 21/12/24 and noticed the BMW I3 branded floor mats were not in the car when I took it home (this was supposed to be part of the deal I negotiated with the dealership). I proceeded to phone the person who was dealing with my sale and was told they went home (the same day I picked the car up). I then contacted this person's out of office, who told me they would investigate further and get back to me on the 27/12. This never happened, and when I proceeded to follow up with them on the 02/01/25, I received no response. I did receive some emails for feedback from BMW, however, in order to fill this in, you need a survey ID. I phoned the assistance for this survey and was notified I had to call the dealership that dealt with the sale. I was put through to the Berry Cobham dealership and the receptionist did not seem to know what to do and asked a colleague for further information. I was told someone would call me back to help find this ID but no one ever did. Safe to say, I like the car but don't appreciate the way I have been dealt with by the dealership and would stay clear in the future.

The experience with this company has been deeply disappointing. The staff appear to lack basic competence and responsibility. They delivered a damaged car, which required repairs before it was even usable. On top of that, they mishandled my paperwork and submitted it incorrectly to the DVLA. When I raised the issue, they refused to take accountability, insisting that it’s my problem to resolve—and to pay for. This level of service is unacceptable, and I would strongly advise others to avoid dealing with this company.

Very convenient and simple process, i ordered the new m5, and the simplicity the sales person John gave me, within 2 hours of speaking to him I went ahead with my purchase and John had all the paperwork done by the end of the day. Very professional, convenient and straight forward process

Agreed a deal on the Thursday, was told we would be contacted the next day to confirm if the car was available, heard nothing until an E Mail Saturday morning and another at lunchtime with an Order Form that did not fit with what I had asked for. £1298 BMW Insurance extras added which I had said I did not want and never would want. When I called the Sales Manager to query he said he couldn`t hear me. I attended the show room on Monday another Sales Manger either would / could not remove said items although he did offer not to supply them but I would still be charged. Perhaps I am missing something but he could not answer as to how this was good for me. Check your Order Form very carefully, go to Thames Ditton or Vines.

Nice and friendly staff to do business with. Sam Lewis understood my requirements and likewise, procured a vehicle best suited to me. Communication has been excellent and will not hesitate to recommend to friends & family.

Connor Fox was very knowledgeable about the car I bought and explained everything well.
