SCAM!!!!
We booked a flight for the two of us from Minneapolis to Seattle last year on Bestairfares.com and had to cancel due to a medical emergency my husband had. They said they would give us a refund. When we got around to using it, they told us it had expired!!! They never told us anything about an expiration date when we paid $800 for the two tickets. This place is a rip-off and I hope other people realize what poor business practices they have. They are a SCAM!!!!

Second Request – Cancellation Confirmation and Refund have not received confirmation of my cancellation request and my flight departure tonight and I have not yet received a cancellation confirmation. I also attempted to call the phone number listed in the email I received; however, my calls are repeatedly directed to voicemail, and the number is being flagged as a possible scam. Because of this, I am requesting written confirmation of my cancellation and information regarding my eligibility for a refund or flight credit.

I had booked the flight tickets from bestairfare on Wednesday it has been 4 days , then after 4 days they came with a ticket saying that it is paid and it is the confirmed PNR number only to find out from air india that the payment hasnt been completed and it is nto a valid booking, this is absolutely poor service wehere the customer was asked to pay for the extra fare amount which they paid on Wednesday itself but still the ticket PNR ref says payment is not done.
This is extremely stressful situation as the passengers travelling alongwith are a senior citizen 70 year old and a 6 year old kid.
This is extremely poor service

I made a reservation thru the website…
I made a reservation thru the website on Dec.27th 2025, and it said it wasn't confirmed until it was confirmed.
I received phone call form their agent on the same day, and after talking I CLEARLY told him I don't want the deal.
They raised the price almost double, and the agent seems like he was trying to do something shady to me, so I told him I didn't want the deal more than 3 times.
He said OK it was canceled, but I saw the charge on my credit card today (Jan.9th 2026), I first disputed the charge, and tried to call the customer service, but it was no where.
I will keep dispute the charge, if I see it again.
I will report this as well if I keep seeing the charge.
Please let me go. Don't ruin someone's precious time and money.

Title: WARNING: BestAirFares.com is a SCAM and Engages in Fraudulent Practices
I am writing this review while extremely frustrated and emotionally distressed. I urge everyone considering using BestAirFares.com to immediately book elsewhere. This company operates a fraudulent scheme that left me stranded at the airport after stealing my money.
Here are the facts of my ordeal:
On November 21, 2025, I used their customer service number ending (x-xxx-xxx-1235) to book a round-trip ticket to Bangkok (BKK). The booking process seemed standard: I provided payment information, the charge went through, and I received an official-looking confirmation email with a PNR (Passenger Name Record).
To be diligent, I immediately contacted United Airlines directly to verify my reservation. A representative for United confirmed that I had a legitimate, active ticket associated with my name and confirmation number. I felt secure and ready for my trip.
On the day of my departure, I arrived at the airport to check in. I was informed by the United Airlines desk agent that my ticket was no longer valid. The agent revealed that the ticket had been canceled and a full refund had been processed—but the funds were returned to a completely different, unauthorized third-party account. My reservation was gone, and I was stranded at the gate just hours before departure.
The Deception Continues:
In a state of panic, I called BestAirFares at the same number I used to book ending with (x-xxx-xxx-1235). When I explained the situation, the agent denied any knowledge of my booking. They claimed that the confirmation email I was holding was not officially issued by their company, despite it being sent from their domain. This gaslighting was incredibly distressing and left me in tears at the airport.
Conclusion:
BestAirFares.com intentionally engages in a fraudulent "bait-and-switch" scheme. They take your money, issue temporary confirmations, cancel your ticket without your knowledge

Beware of this website. Learnt my lesson the hard way.
The moment you book a ticket on this website you will get the initial confirmation email. After that immediately you will get an email with a different confirmation number from "reservation @ cheapflightservice.com" with all your trip details and passenger information. These scammers are going to tell you that you will get the tickets issued in 2 weeks or so as it has to be done in a group booking. Then one fine day you will realize that the trip has been cancelled for some reason.
As I was in a rush to plan the trip I didn't realize all my information is being passed on to scammers. I am never going to book tickets on third party travel sites anymore.

⚠️ Warning: Doing business with BestAirFare.com may put your money at serious risk.
I want to share my troubling experience with BestAirFare.com to help prevent others from going through the same hardship.
In April 2024, BestAirFare.com charged my credit card $12,332.70 for 15 airline tickets for travel from BOS to PUJ on December 22, 2024. Over the course of seven months, the company repeatedly promised that the tickets would be issued. Despite these assurances, they ultimately delivered only 3 of the 15 tickets.
On November 11, 2024, BestAirFare.com agreed to refund $9,766.50 for the 12 unissued tickets. However, as of today, I have not received the refund—only continued promises with no action.
This situation has created significant financial and emotional strain. I was forced to scramble at the last minute to rebook my family’s vacation at a much higher cost. Beyond the stress and inconvenience, I am still out nearly ten thousand dollars that the company has not returned.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise extreme caution when considering any business with BestAirFare.com.

I am posting this because the actual vendor that tried to scam me (Cheapflights) had a link in their email which redirected comments about Cheapflights on TrustPilot to the BestFares page! Ultimate scammers! [My original review: Cancelled flight without any notification to us. Luckily I was checking every few days, so I caught this early. Multiple calls to phone number giving "Out of Service" recorded message.]
