I have only just been inducted so…
I have only just been inducted so cannot really answer this yet but my wife has been a member for many years and apart from not having many classes for over 50s is happy with services.

I'm really torn
I'm really torn, as I would like to give all positive feedback but sa recent experience has changed this. I've been with Better on a Swim membership since 2021. I enjoy going 3 times a week, the staff are lovely, as well as the regulars I meet from time to time. I've been going to Aqua aerobics weekly for about 6 months at £10.30 per class plus my £40 a month membership fee. Thinking that a full membership might be a cheaper option, I spoke to Better only to find that as I turned 60, three years ago I could have been on their 60+ membership @ £40 per month, which includes full membership and classes included. I'm disappointed that I was not contacted and informed this was an option. Please do Better, Better. How many over 60s are you charging full price when they could benefit from being healthier with the full membership?

We outline in our Terms and Conditions that it is the member’s responsibility to ensure they are on the most suitable Membership type for their circumstances.

As we operate more than 250 facilities across the UK, we are unable to proactively contact members when they may become eligible for a different membership category.
However, we are always happy to help review your options

Systems for changing home gym could be…
Systems for changing home gym could be better. When I went from 2 gyms to 1, my membership was amended but because the new gym wasn't my 'home' gym, my access for the barriers at the new gym no longer worked and the person at reception couldn't rectify. Better's central phone number needed calling during work weekday work hours which isn't convenient but did work.
Shower and toilet facilities could be better too.
But the equipment and overall presentation other than the above is good.

It's OK
The gym is fairly well run but occasionally machines are out of order and it takes a long time for them to be repaired. I think they ay have cut back on staff as you don't see them now in the gym and things like replacing paper for wiping down the equipment is erratic

My coach Sarah is very professional yet…
My coach Sarah is very professional yet makes you feel very comfortable in the session. I am gaining knowledge of eating healthy and workouts you can fo that you don't have to break you back to do.
The facilities are good as well. Overall, I will recommend it to friends and family. Its a great place to be.

Fun Swimming Lessons
My 4 year old son attends swimming lessons at the Greenwich Centre and he thoroughly enjoys them. Great teaching staff and fun lessons. We would recommend.

Enjoyed experiences
My experience at Better leisure in Greenwich, has been good the trainers are all brilliant if your first time they explain the moves and also ask if anyone has any injury and show you the easier version. My only complaint is the cleanliness in some areas like the gym floors and showers with broken shower heads and cubicles.
