I recently joined swiss cottage better gym and I must say it is a fantastic place. The staff are really supportive and customer orientated. The gym is spacious and has many amazing equipments too. Also the members of the gym are really friendly overall it's a great place.

Staff Good but Safe Spaces Threatened
Generally staff are brilliant. I had recent severe problems with poor supervision of the pool and associated changing facilities particularly around men (usually fathers) invading women's safety spaces rather than using the family facilities. I understand this remains an issue and needs strict direction.

The facilities have improved greatly specially the gym. I would appreciate it if the steam room could be improved. However, the staff are great they always very willing to help.

I use the gym for now
I use the gym for now. I took a trial swimming class and found it to be very good. However, I think the gym needs more staff to guide students when needed. I noticed that there are more personal trainers than there is someone there to help when someone needs it. I also noticed that some people who use the benches, weights, ropes and bars don't put them back in their place. It's a bit unorganized. As for the rest, I like it 😉

The gym is always tidy and clean. People who work at Swiss Cottage leisure centre are very professional and knowledgeable.

My experience
My name is Mohammed Abdrabou I’m a member as Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre since 1992 before it was BETTER.
I have seen many changes in this building over the years a lot company came and left. However, since BETTER took over things has changed in a good way for members of the gym and the local community. This place is very family friendly and gym is very well organised and the swimming pool is great too. I would like to thank everyone who is working really hard from the centre staffs to people behind the scene to keep this leisure centre going for so long to give us a health lifestyle.
